Former WWE, ECW, and TNA Impact Wrestling star Tommy Dreamer has posted some rather interesting tweets on his official Twitter page this week:
“Having a fun time in Nashville, TN now getting ready to have an IMPACTFUL meeting. The result if all goes well could last till Xmas”
“I had a great time @ the TNA fantasy NFL Draft @jeffjarretttna has the nicest house. @karenjarrett makes it a home. Thanks 2 both bigtime”
Of course the obvious hint is Tommy must be in negotiations to return to Impact Wrestling. Whether he truly is working on a return or is just working people on the internet remains to be seen.
Personally I’m a big fan of Tommy and think he adds a lot to the show and hope he is coming back.
We will keep you posted if anything new surfaces.

I like Tommy Dreamer a lot too, but if he comes back I would prefer it’s without a single tear shed, a respectful speech to a known enemy, or a subservient demeanor to bigger heels.
Tommy Dreamer is I’m sure a sensitive, respectful guy, and he’s not at the top of the company, but I don’t like to see him getting choked up all the time, or putting over people in the ring who are spitting in his face in return, or doing Bully Ray’s laundry.
Tommy needs to come back and tell people he’s going to piledrive them through tables, and then make good on that. I’d like to see him form a hit squad with Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle, and just mow through the roster. That’s my take.

Very much agreed. As a matter of fact one thing I would love to see TNA do away with all together is guys getting punked, cheated, beat down ect, then cutting a promo the next week telling the person who did said acts to them they respect them. It seems a recurring theme.
Tommy needs to be given longer televised matches if he returns. Anyone who has seen a 15 min or longer Tommy Dreamer match knows he can put on a very exciting and amazing match. In 5 minute matches he seems very normal.
