The interview ranges from his history in professional wrestling to his time as a reality TV star to his family life (through the scope of his divorce and his son’s car accident). However, in the article Hogan briefly talks about how iMPACT Wrestling is trying to forge its own path forward by focusing on younger wrestlers and not having too many “entertainment” skits like backstage activity, etc. Here is the full text of Hogan’s quote:
“We’ve got a lot of young guys who are pushing hard,” he said. “And we’re trying to take our own course of destiny and make wrestling matter again. We’re not really focused on skits and entertainment and backstage antics. We’re more focused on keeping the action as much as we can in the ring.”
