For those that read the dirt sheets this will surely not come as a surprise. TNA Impact Wrestling apparently according to many reports, bought (collective dirt sheet GASP!) advertising through local cable operators in the Huntsville, Alabama area tickets to this week’s taping and aired the commercial during WWE’s Monday’s RAW.
The sheets point out that TNA is obviously attempting to draw fans to their Thursday taping in Huntsville. Say what you will about the sheets, but there is no denying they have cracked TNA’s dastardly plot. Hopefully other businesses do not catch on and try to use advertising to give their product exposure as well. The next thing you know they’ll be airing ads on TV regularly, and we will have commercial breaks during programs.
In all seriousness, terms like “attempting to lure” and “in a desperate attempt” have been used by many sites covering this ad campaign. I suppose when your business model is pop up ads and blind links, a deep understanding of how business works is not to be expected.
On a related note, I just saw an ad for the Ford Fusion on tv, I wonder what Ford is up to?

Ha ha ha! Oh my God! What if CNN airs a commercial on FOX News?! And what if FOX Business airs a commercial on CNBC?! What is this world coming to?!?!
Again, this is just an example of how the very few people who make a living off of the dirt sheets should be thanking their lucky stars… because if they can’t understand Marketing and Advertising 101, then they’d never be able to excel in the “real” world. Dummies.

I think Tna should at least try and atempt to bring in fans for there events. When Tna came to london ontario they had no advertisments on tv,radio or anything and at this 10,000 seat arena they filled mabey 600 and i think im being a little generous. My point is, this is good that they bought air time tna isnt poor there owned by pandaenergy so they can aford to throw a lil cash around

I find it funny how people say TNA never advertises, yet I always hear of advertisements during shows like Smackdown. I don’t know as I’m in the UK, though.

Also, nice job on the title, lol.
