As William reported earlier tonight, Matt Hardy was arrested for a DWI after his Corvette crashed into a tree. Thankfully, Matt was by himself and there were no injuries in the crash.
However, TMZ is now reporting that Matt Hardy has been released from iMPACT Wrestling effective immediately. According to their report, a “rep” from the promotion told the gossip website that not only was Matt already suspended from the company, but that he was released as of today. There are no further details available at this time, but check back and we’ll be sure to post the latest on this story.

A rep for TNA tells TMZ, “TNA today released Impact Wrestling star Matt Hardy from its roster. Hardy was already under suspension from the company.”
As TMZ first reported, Hardy was arrested after his Corvette smashed into a tree this afternoon. He was not injured.
