TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Kurt Angle vs. Sting
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I think this will be a good match, but I question the timing. Having Sting and Angle on a Hardcore PPV, and Angle not wanting to use weapons. That’s a huge logic flaw. I’d rather see Abyss in Angle’s spot simply because that’s more logical (He’s in Immortal, and is synonymous with Hardcore in TNA.) Sting is at the end of his wrestling days, and I’m not a fan of him being the World Champion, if for anything else, it’s stopping a young guy like Matt Morgan, ,or AJ Styles from being the champ.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Sting
Joe’s Thoughts: When he signed his new contract, Kurt Angle was told that the promotion is going to be built around him. Tonight, I think, is going to be the beginning.
Joe’s Prediction: Kurt Angle
Mark’s Thoughts: Could go either way. Honestly though, I think that this secretly depends on how Hogan feels about wrestling Sting…
Mark’s Prediction: Kurt Angle
TNA World Tag Team Championship
Mexican America vs. Beer Money
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I’m praying that this is a quick match and Beer Money go over. Mexican America is nothing but a cheap knockoff of LAX, without talent. They rely sorely on cheap heat and pissing the crowd off by blocking their view of the ring with a big Mexican Flag. That’s X-Pac Heat at it’s finest.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Beer Money
Joe’s Thoughts: I just don’t see any logical advancement in having Mexican America win the titles (though it would be interesting if they won the World Tag Team Championship and the girls won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship earlier in the night).
Joe’s Prediction: Beer Money
Mark’s Thoughts: Hard call considering Storm’s injury. It might just allow Roode to go in and carry the team in epic fashion. Or maybe I just don’t want Mexican America to win, at least not in their current state of being the stereotypical international jerks of wrestling.
Mark’s Prediction: Beer Money
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Mickie’s the champ? She’s done next to nothing, and while I hate the whole story behind Winter and Angelina Love, Winter has to win this. They’ve put too much behind her not to. And Mickie’s had a pretty lackluster run with the belt to say the least.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Winter
Joe’s Thoughts: I’m a big fan of Winter. I think she’s an excellent wrestler, a great character, and damn sexy. My attractions aside, though, I think that “Hardcore Country” retains at HardCORE Justice.
Joe’s Prediction: Mickie James
Mark’s Thoughts: One could say Mickie’s at the disadvantage with Love in Winter’s corner, but something tells me Mickie’s got this.
Mark’s Prediction: Mickie James.
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I hate the Knockout Tag Titles, I really do, this is the first time something’s been done with them, but it’s way too late. If Mexican America get the titles back this quickly, then Creative are dummer than I thought.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Tara and Miss Tessmacher
Joe’s Thoughts: Much like their male counterparts, I don’t see any logical reason to let the ladies of Mexican America take the titles in this match.
Joe’s Prediction: Tara & Miss Tessmacher
Mark’s Thoughts: Tara and Tessmacher seem like such a made up team (as does every other KO’s tag team champion). Maybe they’ll let Mexican America hold all of the tag team titles… then again, maybe not.
Mark’s Prediction: Tara and Tessmacher
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Austin Aries is the best thing the X-Division has going for it. No offense, but the whole respect thing has gone on way too long in Impact Wrestling. Here is a great performer who is a clean cut heel and can be an interesting foil and interesting champion.
Jarrett’s Prediction: ‘The Greatest Man Alive’ Austin Aries wins the Gold
Joe’s Thoughts: Something tells me that the feud between Alex Shelley and Austin Aries will continue, but that Brian Kendrick sneaks away with the win here. The question in my mind is what role Abyss will play in this match.
Joe’s Prediction: Brian Kendrick
Mark’s Thoughts: Austin Aries is gonna take that low road to win. Because, you know, he doesn’t believe in honor and stuff.
Mark’s Prediction: Austin Aries.
Six Man Tag Team Match
Fortune vs. Immortal
Christopher Daniels, Kazarian, & AJ Styles vs. Gunner, Abyss, & Scott Steiner
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I’m not a fan of how this match has been promoted, Fortune vs. Immortal, but it was never announced who was representing the factions. The way I see it, if they’re going to continue this Fortune/Immortal Feud, Fortune needs the win because Immortal has reigned supreme pretty much the whole year.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Fortune
Joe’s Thoughts: Since I think Beer Money is going to win in their match, I’m going to go with the flip side on this one and call Immortal for the victory.
Joe’s Prediction: Immortal
Mark’s Thoughts: Christoper Daniels is going to mess everything up.
Mark’s Prediction: Immortal
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Is there even any question?
Jarrett’s Prediction: Crimson
Joe’s Thoughts: The streak isn’t going to end at HardCORE Justice – Crimson is going to take the victory in what should be a great match.
Joe’s Prediction: Crimson
Mark’s Thoughts: lol
Mark’s Prediction: Crimson
Bound for Glory Series Match
D’Angelo Dinero vs. Devon
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I HATE this fued. The fact that they have to add Devon’s kids to it shows how sad creative is. Dinero is “The Black Pope,” how hard would it have been to create the rivalry on that? Regardless of my dislike of the feud, I think Dinero has to win to stay relevant, while Devon is a veteran.
Jarrett’s Prediction: D’Angelo Dinero
Joe’s Thoughts: If I’m not mistaken, D’Angelo Dinero hasn’t won a Bound for Glory Series match yet. I think his losing streak stays intact tonight.
Joe’s Prediction: Devon
Mark’s Thoughts: I think Dinero’s gonna prove a point here.
Mark’s Prediction: D’Angelo Dinero
Bully Ray vs. Mr. Anderson
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Man, did this one come from far left field. Never saw this one coming, but you have a feud with two of the best promo men in Impact Wrestling. I wish they had more time to sell this match, as it could have been a big deal with Ray’s past ECW experience trying to forcibly teach Anderson his place in Immortal. Both of them could easily sell this match on the mic, and it’s a shame they didn’t have that chance.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Anderson….Anderson.
Joe’s Thoughts: This one is a tough call for me. On the one hand, both of these guys are at about the same level in the promotion. On the other hand, I think that Bully Ray will get more of a rub by winning the match. Yet, something tells me to go with Mr. Anderson. I don’t know why, but that’s my pick in this one.
Joe’s Prediction: Mr. Anderson
Mark’s Thoughts: Two loud mouths going at it… this should be a good one, but I think Bully Ray will be more of a you know what than Anderson will be.
Mark’s Prediction: Bully Ray
