Though there has not been an explicit reference to his release, Orlando Jordan acknowledged via Twitter that he was let go from iMPACT Wrestling. Jordan, in a response to a tweet from Mickie James‘ Twitter account, announced that he was alive and that he was leaving the promotion. Here is the text of Jordan’s tweet:
I alive and Happy @MickieJames just expressed how sadden she was about me leaving TNA

My heart hurts hearing we lost @orlandojordan today. An amazing talent.! & even more important. Individual! Our loss someone else’s fortune.
No word on the reason behind Jordan’s release, though from my perspective he certainly wasn’t given any sustained chance to make an impact on iMPACT Wrestling’s programming.
