Former WWE star and current MMA hopeful Dave Bautista responded to questions about the possibility of a TNA appearance via his official Twitter account today:
“keep getting asked about a possible TNA run….and the answer is absolutely not. nothing against TNA. they”ve got some great talent.
but even though i dont agree with the direction they’ve taken, I bleed WWE. which is why i’ve decided to sit it out rather than accept very generous offers from other promotions. hope everyone can respect that.”
What does this mean? Apparently Dave feels that going to TNA would be a betrayal to the WWE. Of course we’ve heard this from Ric Flair, and many others in the past as well and they’ve later changed their mind. There is no need to burn a bridge unless a deal is done.
Would Dave be a good fit for TNA? Would you like to see him in TNA? We’d love to hear your thoughts on the subject below.

like Impact needed another talent with a high tf but has a limited wrestling moves/repertoire…nothing against him but Impact already got more of the talented wrestlers they’ll just need the proper push.

I think I’d only be in favor of Batista in TNA Wrestling if he was used in the “Heyman Format.” In other words, get him on a short-term deal, put him in a program with a homegrown talent (Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Bobby Roode, Crimson, Matt Morgan, etc), and have the homegrown talent ultimately come out on top of a 3 – 4 month program (possibly culminating at Bound for Glory).
Other than that, I’m not sitting on the edge of my seat hoping that Batista makes the jump. I was never a big fan, but I do have a lot of respect for the guy for making it big in WWE at a much later age than most of that promotion’s top talent.
