The prince’s perspective on Sinclair Broadcasting’s acquisition of ROH: “It’s awesome. It’s a great thing. I think the former owner & president of Ring of Honor, Cary Silkin, played the situation in a great scenario for a whole new crop of individuals to be seen and make a living at something they love to do. I think it’s going to be a beautiful thing for everyone in Ring of Honor.
Leading into their return to television, the importance of Ring of Honor needing to change, but also staying true to what made the company a success: “I think it’s very very exclusively important for us to stay intact and keep the mission going. Obviously, when you marry somebody, the mission as to grow. It has to get more specific, and the idea has to become bigger. The idea of Ring of Honor is to become bigger, to become a main company that people go to when they want to be entertained, with work by guys who are going to put their lives on the line for each & every one those fans. Are things going to change? Yeah, things are going to change. Change is good, but as we are going through these changes, we have to realize & utilize everyone we have now this way. We could be something very big in the future.”
