Just a quick “heh” note. A lot of the cut and paste pro wrestling news sites have been in an uproar over TNA promoting the 1st ever matchup between Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle on last week’s episode of Impact Wrestling on Spike TV. Many have went so far as to post examples of past matchups between the two.
Of course true TNA Wrestling fans know the promo said, “It will be the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle vs. Rob Van Dam for the first time ever on IMPACT WRESTLING”. Searching around the interwebs today I see quite a few have woke up this weekend realizing they were posting inaccurate information. This of course is nothing new. The scam by these sites is to post something blatantly false or that has not been looked into, then post correct information and blame the sites they copied in the first place. Both stories will get page views, why worry about accuracy.
So for the record TNA did indeed air the first ever Rob Van Dam vs. Kurt Angle match on Impact Wrestling this past week. The sites who tried to confuse the issue sadly did not post their first inaccurate story ever.

This story really pissed me off over the last few days because 1) how is this a story and 2) the “story” comes from blatant lying.
Then again, these are the same people that said when Sangriento debuted that there was no chance of ever seeing The Amazing Red on iMPACT Wrestling again…

Exactly, it’s a non story.
Where were the cut and paste headlines when WWE claimed Christan’s title win this past month was his first World Championship? Of course it was a non story. Every knows the WWE only acknowledges their “Universe” but yet there were zero headlines about the false claim by the WWE. TNA makes a true claim, it was their first Impact Wrestling match and the copy and paste world goes nuts.

A lot of these dirt-sheets just want to put TNA down because they’re biased.

lol
I could kinda sorta understand the confusion, as the first time I heard about Angle vs RVD, I thought they were promoting it as they’re first ever meeting in life, and I was thinking to myself, “That can’t be right.” A second listen, however, did hear that they mentioned their first meeting on Impact.
Furthermore, WWE isn’t a wrestling organization, so any championships won in wrestling organizations are moot.
