From the WWF, to WCW, to TNA, The Macho Man has always been the main to entertain. One of the all time greatest performers in professional wrestling. R.I.P. Macho Man, you were taken too soon.

What can be said? Macho was one of the very greatest of all time and will be missed by anyone who saw him wrestle. Peace and love to his friends and family. RIP.
William B. West says
Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan had two of my favorite runs of their careers vs. Randy Savage. “Great” is often thrown around in the wrestling business but the Macho Man was great.
Joe says
This is an especially painful passing in my eyes because I don’t think Savage was ever given the final send off that he deserved. He meant a tremendous amount to the sport of professional wrestling and the pastime of sports entertainment. Yet for reasons that we’re not truly privy to he was never inducted into the Hall of Fame when he should have been (in the last few years).
Like William said – the word “great” is often thrown around in professional wrestling, but Savage really was great. I’d also add that we hear the words “legend” and “icon” a lot these days as marketing gimmicks. Well, any fan from the 1980’s or 1990’s hears those words and thinks of a few truly iconic figures – Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Sting… and the “Macho Man” Randy Savage.

I still can’t believe this man is gone, never to come back in existence ever again. He truly was one of the greats. This loss is the equivalent to a Hogan, or a Flair, or a Stone Cold loss (not that the ignorant IWC out there would care if anything happened to Hogan or Flair).
R.i.P Macho Man.
