TNA Wrestling released the following statement today, “Terry Taylor, TNA Director of Talent Relations, has decided to leave TNA effective May 31, 2011. TNA is grateful for Terry’s contributions to TNA’s growth and wishes him success in his future endeavors.”
Terry has been with TNA since 2003 in various roles including road agent, trainer, and interviewer, and Director of Talent Relations.

The Johnny-Come-Latelys on the interwebs are already perverting this entire situation to get hits to their websites. For those of you who don’t know (and certainly won’t read anywhere else), Terry Taylor used to work for WWE and left the company to move physically closer to his father who was gravely ill. That move put him in TNA Wrestling’s territory so he inquired about a job and they were glad to have him on board.
There are rumors floating around the interwebs that he was fired from TNA Wrestling – I have nothing to corroborate that information. However, if anyone on this site comes across information that confirms the firing, we’ll report it here first.

If he was fired the statement would likely read differently in my opinion. Terry likely wants to move in a different direction, is looking for a higher earning paycheck, or no longer wants to live in Florida(as Joe mentioned I remember the same story about Terry wanting to be in Florida to be closer to his Dad), or has a pending job offer somewhere else.
