We know that many TNAStars.com readers have been asking about when TNA Wrestling would bring us its next video game. Well, the wait is almost over (for some fans) because Namco Bandai is getting ready to release a TNA Wrestling game for mobile devices! To be more specific, they are releasing a mobile game that will be playable on iPhone, iPad, Android, J2ME, Java, BREW, Windows Mobile, and RIM (BlackBerry).
Now, since this thing is available on the iPad, I have to imagine that when they say it is available for Android they are including Android tablets. Because while I do not have an iPad, I do have a NOOKcolor from Barnes & Noble. And if you haven’t heard, the good folks at Barnes & Noble upgraded the NOOKcolor software to allow it to essentially become an Android tablet. So, if I can get my hands on the app via the NOOKcolor, then you can look forward to a review of the video game right here. Unfortunately, the screen on my BlackBerry is a wreck, so I wouldn’t download a new app on that platform if I didn’t have to…

As a gamer and new owner of the iPad 2, I am VERY excited about this news. I’ll be disappointed if the game does not include Knockouts in it’s roster, but otherwise it sounds like this game is on the right track, even including a create a wrestler mode. If I’m not mistaken there are currently no wrestling games on the iPad or other tablets, so this could be a good fix for anyone in need of a serious wrestling game fix, not just TNA fans.
