On Sunday night, we learned that Osama Bin Laden had been killed by United States military forces. As the entire world reacted to the news, USS Cole veteran and TNA Wrestler Jesse Neal expressed his feelings via his Twitter account @jessenealtna
Jesse Neal served on the USS Cole. On October 12, 2000, the USS Cole was refueling at the Yemeni port of Aden when the ship became a target of a terrorist attack under Bin Laden that resulted in the deaths of 17 people which included Neal’s best friend, which changed his life forever. After leaving the Navy, Neal decided to pursue wrestling as it was a dream he and his best friend had shared.
Upon hearing the news, Neal excitedly Tweeted:
“Wow!!!!! Everything is getting in its right place! He is lucky it wasn’t me that caught him!!! Ya I said it! Karma is a bitch!”
Then, Neal posted a follow-up message paying respect to his military brothers:
“Although he is caught and dead, it don’t bring them back, but just tells us to always remember “The Fallen”! We r here for a reason”
TNA Wrestling would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our military forces around the world for serving and protecting our great nation. We also hope you remember all of the victims of 9/11 and their families.

I was watching FOX last night and one of the anchors led off the hour with something to the effect of “This weekend Osama bin Laden learned that all that stuff about receiving 25 virgins in the afterlife was a bunch of bunk.” Awesome.

Not wrestling related, but awesome none the less. Here is video of Phillies/Mets fans reacting to the news at the ballpark:

Killing a leader doesn’t stop a cause.

It sure doesn’t, but at least the SOB is dead. I love the fact that it took 40 minutes to get to him in the compound, he knew it was coming.
