According to an announcement from TNA Wrestling the TV situation in Australia has been resolved and an official announcement from them is forthcoming,“TNA Wrestling Fans in Australia: We will make an announcement very soon regarding TNA iMPACT! returning to television in Australia. Thank you for your passion, patience and continued support of TNA Wrestling. Check back to TNAwrestling.com for updates.”
I did some digging and Fox8 Australia posted this on their official Facebook page earlier this week, “We posted on the 18th April that we were waiting on the new channel to give the green light that the deal had been done. The new home of TNA will be Fuel TV on FOXTEL/AUSTAR. Thanx for your patience.”
They posted this or a variation of it in response to several fan requests. Any of our Australian readers familiar with the popularity and availability of FuelTV please feel free share that info with our international readers in the comments section below.
Pay attention here, folks. This is what is known as checking sources and actually investigating the story. You’re typically not going to find that type of dedication anywhere else in the internet wrestling world (unfortunately).

Thanks for the compliment Joe. My only regret is not breaking this a couple days ago. I had Fox8’s Facebook page bookmarked and checked back for a couple weeks and gave up checking back until I saw TNA’s pre-announcement today. I’m sure this will be come official in copy and paste land when the major dirt sheets pickup on it.
