Any wrestling fan with an interweb connection has no doubt seen the recent video of former WCW, WWE, and TNA star Scott Hall that has been circulating featuring his most recent indy wrestling appearance. If you haven’t seen it it is very sad. Scott is either drunk, high, or medically unable to perform or talk coherently. Scott as anyone who follows the pro wrestling business has had the demons of addiction haunting him for quite some time. I think I can safely speak for everyone here hoping he can finally overcome these problems and come to some semblance of a normal life.
Current TNA star Eric Bischoff and former TNA star Kevin Nash both have commented this weekend on Hall via their social media accounts. The comments are below:
Eric Bischoff via Facebook, “Just watched the video of Scott Hall’s appearance in New England. Wish I knew how to help him. I know that others (including Vince McMahon) have tried recently. He was such an amazing talent, and deep down inside, a great person. His demons are killing him.”
Kevin Nash via Twitter, “Scott is in the hospital up north, I’ll be at the airport when he lands and taking him to my home when he lands. Please don’t judge Scott on what you just saw. He would give any of you a kidney. To the motherf*ckers that made a joke who would want his kidney lol send me your address and lets see how funny it is. He’s my brother we will get through this. To Scott’s fans thank you 4 your love you’re as special as he is.”
Again the video is out there if you want to see it, I have not posted it as I feel even though Scott is responsible for Scott, the man needs help and exploiting the issue doesn’t really help anything.

I have read this on other sites and I have seen the videos and I just wanted to say this is the best report out there. Instead of posting the videos or accusing Scott of being drunk or on Drugs you chose to only report what his friends had to say and that it could also have been medically unable to perform. From personal experience my Father is diabetic and has high blood pressure but when he needs sugar or his blood pressure drop because of his meds it seems he acts almost drunk. Not saying this is what Scott is going through but it could be one of many explanations of what we saw on the video.

Interesting point on the diabetes, TNAFAN2010. I’m a Type 2 Diabetic and when my blood sugar crashes, I start to get disoriented and dizzy and sometimes I lose my bearings. I never thought of a chemical imbalance like that perhaps being the issue. Good thinking.

TNAFAN2010 thanks for the feedback. Joe has set the bar here for reporting the facts and clearly reporting speculation as speculation. It’s always great to hear from readers that appreciate our style of reporting.

I greatly appreciate this website and everyone that works for this site’s style of reporting. In-fact this is the only website that I trust for News and updates about TNA and it’s roster. So I would just like to say THANK YOU for such a great job.

Really hope Scott can turn this around before it ends his life. He looked dangerously bad in that video. To the guys talking about not posting the video or speculating on what’s wrong with him, im sorry, but get real. The man has a long history of drug and alcohol problems, and denial helps no one.

I chose not to watch the video and won’t. Nor will I pass judgement or EVER pay to see Scott Hall. I’ve been to at least two wrestling cards that I know of where he was scheduled to appear and did not or was not in condition to do so.

I hope Hall gets better. He is a great wrestler with a ton of charisma. Outsiders are still my favorite tag team. Hall and Nash are my favorite wrestlers besides HBK and The Pac. Take it one day at a time and you will get better, Hall. I helped a friend overcome the same thing. We took it one day at a time and he beat it. I believe in you Hall and you have a lot of great friends (HBK, Triple H, Nash, and XPAC) who could help you do this. Take care.

@dan. It wasn’t denial or refusal to speculate. I clearly speculated on what the possibilities are including his history of substance abuse.
Also it’s not being in denial by not posting the video. It’s clearly stated that it exists, I’ve seen it and encouraged those who wish to see it to seek it out, it’s a sad video. Exploiting the situation won’t help the guy. He needs help.
@Matt. Sadly his career is paralleling that of Jake Roberts. At one time two of the smartest wrestlers ever. It’s sad to see.
@Charles Good advice.
Thanks everyone for your feedback.
