TNA star Sting was recently interviewed by the Daily Star. He discussed his TNA return, the possible WWE signing and more. During the interview he was asked about the “Jeff Hardy incident” at the Victory Road PPV and made the following comments:
“I love Jeff Hardy. I don’t want to do anything to harm him. He has personal issues, everyone knows that. But some things are true and some are not. What is true is that it all came to a head that week and hit really big that night.
I hated what happened because I wanted to give fans a great match. But I realize it had to happen the way it did.
And after all was said and done I came to the back and made sure he was OK. He is OK and he’s been talking to people close to him a lot. Jeff is getting stronger. He’s riding 10 miles a day on his mountain bike to get in condition, I hear! Good luck to him.”

“Jeff is getting stronger.”
Whether Jeff Hardy is able to come back to TNA or not, I really, really hope that’s true. Dude’s mad cool (well, I haven’t actually met him, but he seems to be cool), and it would be a shame for it to all he has accomplished and has yet to accomplish to go down the drain like that.

Hey Mark – on the topic of meeting Jeff Hardy and whether or not he is “cool,” I just thought I’d mention that I did meet him after last summer’s Asbury Park, New Jersey house show. Two of my buddies and I were standing around at a bar that is attached to the Convention Hall where the show took place. Hardy came by and I extended my hand to shake his – he was very pleasant and nice about shaking all of our hands, but he really just wanted a cigarette (sometimes you just want a cigarette, I guess). It was a short encounter, but he was a good sport for the few moments that we interacted with him and I’d go along with your assumption that he’s “cool.” 🙂

Rocky-
I gather you’ve only seen like five wrestlers in your life time?

he must have been in really bad shape if 10 miles on a bike is worth mentioning. I think we’ve seen the last of him for a while. Seems very likely he’s going to prison for several years.

I met jeff in NJ at The Fox & The Hound he was awesome I have a 6 yar old son that loves him and Jeff had my son on the Hardy Show that day so it was great to see. That being said I hope Jeff addresses his deamons and returns to WWE forget TNA its a half wit promotion anyway with crowds of 1400 compared to WWE’s 75000 more money to be made in WWE
