Hi everyone,
I hope that your day is going well. I thought I’d post a brief update on some of the recent changes and events going on at TNAStars.com. As I frequently tell my teammates at TNAStars.com, I don’t like to make a habit of these types of updates, but once in a while isn’t so bad!
First, I hope that you’ve all noticed the increased number of latest updates on the Latest Updates listing on the right side of every page. I noticed that there were a healthy number of updates being posted to the Latest Updates listing so to ensure that those of you who might visit TNAStars.com from a search engine or who might visit every other day instead of daily (shame on you) can review all of the latest and greatest on TNA Wrestling, I increased the number of posts available for viewing.
In addition and on the same topic, the front page of the website now also features separate Multimedia and Site Information listings for those of you who might be interested in those archives.
Second, if you scan to the top of the page and expand your browser window, you’ll notice that the graphic image at the top of the page is now much bigger and encompasses a greater portion of the top of each page. The new header allows for more detailed graphics to be featured on the top of each page and the possibility for a rotating image to be placed in that spot at some point in the future. The image that appears on the top of the page right now is of Brother Ray standing in the crowd during the Hard Justice 2008 pay-per-view in Trenton, New Jersey. I took the picture myself.
Third, I’ve upgraded the code behind the picture galleries/profile pages to allow for a larger image to appear when you click on any image in the picture galleries. The new code should allow for a larger image of some 600+ pixels to appear on the individual picture pages – I think you’ll enjoy the change! Oh, and you can also see the picture at the highest resolution available on TNAStars.com by clicking on the newly enlarged image. Click on one of the links above, choose a profile page, and check it out!
Fourth, if any webmasters or website managers out there are interested in featuring TNAStars.com’s headlines on your website, please let me know. I just upgraded the javascript that we use to implement our code on other websites. The new code is tighter, more compliant with more browser protocols, and extremely easy to install. Fifth, I’ve confirmed TNAStars.com’s next two giveaway promotions. To mark the upcoming Lockdown pay-per-view, we’re going to give away a copy of Lockdown 2008 to a random subscriber to the TNAStars.com Mailing List! Also, now that our Twitter promotion is over (another one will be starting soon) will be giving away a few autographed 8×10 pictures of a former TNA Wrestling champion! In order to be eligible to win either the Lockdown 2008 DVD or an autographed 8×10 picture, you must be a subscriber to the TNAStars.com Mailing List. More information on these giveaways will be forthcoming.
And finally, following a very big, “high traffic” week for professional wrestling all over the world, I’m proud to announce that TNAStars.com received its highest number of hits in a single day this past Monday. We expected a higher number of hits coming off of WrestleMania weekend, but the 9,145 hits we received on Monday was impressive. And, thankfully, the high traffic has continued through both Tuesday and today. For those of you who are new to TNAStars.com, please stick around because we’re getting ready to feature the best iMPACT! coverage on the internet in the next few days!
