Awesome – much better than that piece of shit Jeff Hardy inspired belt. Seriously, did anyone think that the Hardy belt was worth anything? This is a good looking belt.
Although my personal favorites are still the old school WWE Intercontinental Title, the NWA World Heavyweight Title (aka Flair’s Belt), and the short-lived Undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Championship (which was, I think, bastardized into that pathetic spinner belt they have now).
The old TNA World Heavyweight Title wasn’t so bad either, I guess.
I agree on the old school Intercontinental, it’s a great belt. As a youngster I could never understand why Tito Santana had a cooler belt than the Hulkster.
Aren’t the letters supposed to be blue? Via the bias of my favorite color, that’s what makes the new TNA belt for me.
This is still waaaaaay better than Hardy’s Diva’s Championship.
I like this belt best out of the REAL TNA Heavyweight Belts. I don’t count that toy Jeff Hardy carried around as a Championship. It looked like something I would think up when I was 5 or 6. This belt looks by the overall shaping that it’s inspired by the “Big Gold” Belt that was worn in WCW and now WWE.
Hey Brian – thanks for the comment! I agree that this belt is clearly based on the overall shaping of the “Big Gold” belt (what I call “Ric Flair’s Belt”) from the NWA and WCW days as well as currently in WWE (albeit a smaller version of the “Big Gold” belt).
im not a fan of the silver writing. i prefer the old TNA belt ( the one before the hardy belt ).
wish they’d bring the real TNA belt back!

i like the old style champion belts my self but as for TNA i think the Eagle belt is the best
This Belt is ugly! He looks like a toy, has no class and is not worthy of a World Title! The shape of the main plate is pretty good, but the huge lettering Heavyweight Champion is utter crap! This also requires the oversized TNA logo, absolutely ugly! I would have preferred a classic belt, etc. with an eagle, earth on it! Everything complete and beautifully finished in gold! He prefers the first of TNA World Title back! He looked fine and was a worthy World Title! He had a can be a little bigger, but overall, the best of TNA World Title! Everything else like Jeff Hardy or now the new Sting Belt are terrible!
