Hey everyone – what did you think about tonight’s Victory Road pay-per-view?
From my perspective, the show seemed to be going great up until the last few minutes where the fans (and pay-per-view purchasers) were seemingly screwed out of a main event. However, I admit that I didn’t order the show (expect a “Major Impact” column on that topic later this week) so I’d love to hear what you have to say about tonight’s pay-per-view. Did you order the show? If so, how do you feel about the main event with Jeff Hardy and Sting? If you didn’t order the show, why didn’t you order it?
Use the comments section below and remember to put your best foot forward. The gang at TNAStars.com and I can’t wait to hear from you about tonight’s show. Enjoy!

The ending was crap!! No main event ruined a good show.

That seems to be the general feeling around the internet – that the one minute main event was a disaster. There are a lot of unconfirmed reports floating around about Jeff Hardy’s condition during the day yesterday and how TNA Wrestling officials didn’t want him to participate in the show because of the shape that he was in. None of these have been confirmed (or directly denied by Jeff Hardy yet), but it seems to me like something was up last night.
Without doing any digging, I’d have to assume that either Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo were trying to work the entire locker room, Jeff Hardy was in no condition to wrestle, or Sting refused to wrestle Jeff Hardy for whatever reason. But – again – at this point no one can be sure about anything from last night’s main event.

Something in the air is up… And I don’t like it. What has TNA done? I sat in awe after finishing watching the main event. This is gunna give the haters something to brag about, but I can’t blame them. TNA were on the rise, and now this crap? Why couldn’t they have just replaced the wrestler facing Sting?

Work or not, people paid good money to see some sort of main event. Shame on TNA for not putting their fans first..

TNA is growing and such things can happen all the time. Critiques definitely now has something to brag about but storylines are not affected by it and I still have many reason to watch impact and buy PPVs.

I watched it last night. I have to say that from the look of things, either management didnt know he was intoxicated until just before the match (hence taking ages to actually come out after the music hit), or that he was intoxicated prior, and then carried on doing *whatever* he had been doing in the privacy of his lockerroom and got himself into a much worse condition. Either way, it was embarrassing and pathetic. It’s my opinion that Hardy should now be let go, hes just too much of a liability and makes TNA look really bad. I don’t think you can blame TNA too much for the ending of the PPV if the extent of Hardys condition was only realised minutes before the match. However, if they keep throwing him in the main event then i will lose respect for them, especially when you think about talent such as Samoa Joe, AJ, Morgan, Anderson, Angle et al all working their a*ses off.

Maybe one day “they” will see Joe can be one hell of champion if given the chance. Will I stop watching TNA because of one missed main event? No, but they better give me something BIG next time around for not delivering on that main event or I won’t be ordering anymore PPVs from them.
