Former member of EV 2.0, Stevie Richards, narrowly missed an opportunity to receive a $1 million check from EA Sports. As some of you may know, 2k Sports runs a $1 million challenge each year in combination with the release of its new MLB 2K11 game. The first fan to pitch a perfect game in the video game is awarded a $1 million prize.
Pretty cool, huh?
Anyway, below is a video that Richards posted to his YouTube account showing the perfect game that he pitched. Unfortunately, though, the contest doesn’t actually begin until April 1st of this year. So while Richards may hold the distinction of being the first fan to pitch a perfect game, he is not eligible for the $1 million prize at this time.
Here’s hoping that he can manage to pitch that perfect game after April 1st comes around! Good luck!
