Canada’s Slam Sports recently interviewed former WWE star “Highlander” Robbie MacAllister. The article covers his success on the Indy Wrestling circuit as well as the infamous “TNA Incident” involving the former WWE star.
The incident for those that don’t remember involved Robbie appearing in the crowd at TNA iMPACT! shortly prior to WrestleMania. Robbie was yanked from WrestleMania and released by the WWE. Many including myself at the time felt it was foul play on TNA’s part to show him on camera as he was visiting friends and watching the show.
Robbie commented on the incident in the Slam article, “It was the stupidest thing I ever did. It was a dumb, illogical thing. I’ve never told anybody this, but I was very unhappy in WWE, and in retrospect I think it was kind of my way to get fired.”
The full article is a great read and I recommend checking it out.

Imagine if one day Triple H was seen having a great time in the crowd in TNA? LOL.
