A variety of sources around the interwebs are reporting that TNA Wrestling and Immortal’s resident doormats – Gunner and Murphy – have signed contracts with the promotion. Gunner (real name Phil Shatter) and Murphy (real name Mikael Judas), have been working on a nightly basis with TNA Wrestling – meaning that they were paid for the nights that they worked.
According to reports, both Gunner and Murphy are allowed to take independent bookings, but booking for TNA Wrestling shows will take precedence. Also, neither wrestler is allowed to perform on another promotion’s television show. Some reports around the interwebs suggest that this might be a problem for Gunner since he currently holds an independent promotion’s World Heavyweight Championship.
Some folks consider Gunner and Murphy two of the best wrestlers on the independent scene today. More on this signing as/if it comes.
