The interweb is again in a fervor over the possibility of TNA Wrestling stars Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair appearing in WWE’s upcoming video game WWE All Stars for the Wii, PS3 and Xbox360 after a supposed “leaked” photo of the game cover featuring the Hulkster appeared this week.
There has been no official word from the WWE, TNA, Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan camps as of this writing and should be considered a rumor.
As far as I can tell the Hulkster ended his licensing deal with the WWE before he came to TNA as proven by his appearance in the Cross The Line game for DS and his TNA wrestling figures.
Flair on the other hand has not appeared in any TNA licensed game or action figures, leading to speculation his likeness for toys may still be tied up in a deal with the Mattel for their WWE line. Even if that is the case it isn’t likely WWE would be interested in promoting a character appearing on a rival program. Though wrestlers from TNA and WWE have appeared in each others games in the past this was generally because they had left their respective companies after the title went into production.
Here is a look at the supposed “leaked” image of the game cover making the rounds on the net, again this is not official and is most likely a fan Photoshop:

If this isn’t a fake it’s probably the worst game cover I’ve seen in a while. Can’t imagine that the WWE marketing people would give the nod to something that looks this bad!
William B. West says
The Hogan image looks very familiar to me, it may have been on an older WWE game?
