The final cable ratings for this week’s episode of iMPACT! on Spike TV are now available and they show an interesting dichotomy. This week’s episode of the show scored a final cable rating of 1.15 which represented about 1,648,000 viewers over the course of the show’s two hours. This is 0.10 of a point lower than last week’s episode which scored a final cable rating of 1.25 with an average audience of 1,733,000 viewers.
And that’s the interesting dichotomy in this week’s ratings. While the final cable rating was 0.10 lower than last week, the viewership was only down an average of 85,000 throughout the two hour show. In the grand scheme of things, that’s not a bad dip.
For comparison’s sake, we can talk about this fictitious Thursday Night War that exists as a comedy piece on this website. With that in mind, this week’s episode of Superstars scored a final cable rating of 0.49 on WGN America. The 0.49 cable rating represented a total audience of 565,000 viewers.

TNA need bigger ARENAS
that’s the final move, the crowd and atmosphere means so much for wrestling!!!
BIGGER ARENAS TNA! And you will get more fans!

Hey Gerrard – thanks for the comment. I couldn’t agree more. There is something about watching a wrestling show that is being taped in a soundstage in an amusement park that makes me cringe. It just looks low end. But you put a production together in an 8,500 seat arena like TNA Wrestling is planning on doing with their February 24th iMPACT! and you have something that is visually appealing – something that will make fans want to tune in as they flip by on their televisions!
