As we reported earlier TNA Wrestling is moving it’s Destination X pay-per-view to July 17th 2011. According to Devin Cutting of ProWrestlingEvents.tk this is also the same day that the WWE is holding it’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
If this indeed he case I believe it would be the first time two major wrestling companies held competing PPV’s on the same night since Survivor Series and Starrcade went head to head on Thanksgiving of 1987. I can’t see iNDemand being very happy with this situation. Perhaps TNA will swerve everyone and offer this free on broadcast TV ala Clash of the Champions which was a result of WWF strong arming the cable companies back in ’87.
