As we reported earlier there were several reports on the internet that Shane Helms was coming to TNA based on a video he released a few days ago where he signed a contract to appear on a nationally televised wrestling program. I speculated that this could be either TNA, Ring of Honor or WWE as he gave zero clues indicating it was TNA.
Well, I forgot one other show. Word coming out today is that Shane Helms has signed to appear on MTV2’s Lucha Libre USA. Shane would definitely have been a nice addition to the TNA roster.
Eh – won’t last long. He’ll be in TNA Wrestling before all is said and done. That MTV2 show has another season in it and I think it’s over… just my speculation, though.
Yeah I just don’t get the feeling MTV is sold on pro wrestling. Wrestling Society X had decent ratings for a MTV program and was dumped quickly.
