Apparently former WWE superstar Matt Hardy is enjoying his experience thus far in TNA Wrestling. He made the following statement via his official Twitter account minutes ago:
“The last 2 days of work at TNA have been AWESOME! Fun, stress-free, & how work should be-I am very grateful toward TNA for the opportunity.”
A lot of people like to bash the personal character of the Hardys, both Matt and Jeff. The fact that they would both leave the bigger paychecks of the WWE for TNA I think shows at least greed isn’t one of their supposed character flaws. It’s refreshing to see professional athletes pursue happiness rather than the highest dollar.

i dont get why people bash the hardys..i guess i can see why with Jeff but not for matt..anytime anyone chooses to be happy over being rich has my respect

Neither “left” the WWE to go to TNA like a Christian Cage or Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy left because he was “burned out” and Matt Hardy left because he’s an egotistical “talent” that thinks that he should be in the main event, be world champion, and the center of the world.
Matt and Jeff both are very greedy, more so Matt.

Matt thanks for your comments, even if they are misguided. No one leaves the WWE and comes to TNA for greed.
While they are both have wrestling programs on TV they are apples to oranges right now. The WWE from a financial standpoint is a machine. TV deals, merchandise, number of live dates ect. If it is about greed that is where you stay. TNA is usually a spot stars come to if they want some creative freedom(for less money), a lighter schedule(less money), a change of scenery(less money).
Thanks for checking out the site and we hope you come back!

Mal,
Thanks for your comments!

I don’t mind Matt being in TNA. But I’m getting concerned that too many former WWE wrestlers are coming into TNA now. Its kind of making TNA look bad IMO.

In my opinion it makes TNA look good. In the old WCW/WWF days it was considered a strong coup to sign talent from a rival organization.

@William B.
Yes, but these days, only one promotion is getting the others wrestlers. That’s TNA. TNA are being heavily criticized by this. I didn’t mind it at first, even in the midst of the haters saying:
“TNA iZ GETTING WWE REJECTS ALL DA TIMEs TnA SUckksxzz!!22!!1!!1ONE!!”
But now they got Mickie James and Matt Hardy, I feel its just making them look a little low-class to the fans compared to WWE. Granted, Mickie is a huge name in the women’s division, but again, she’s best known for her time in WWE, and whilst I do agree that grabbing her was a good thing, its just giving the haters another reason to complain.
William B. West says
If it’s one sided it’s the fact that TNA gets more of WWE’s stars to come over and uses them successfully. WWE signs a lot of TNA talent Low-Ki, Awesome Kong, Chris Harris, too name a few. WWE usually doesn’t know how to use the talent once they get them and in my mind that makes WWE look worse.
The haters have always complained. When Flair went to WWF the WWF haters complained, when Hogan went to WCW the WCW haters complained. Wrestling fans are passionate about their favorite organization and always have been.
