The final cable ratings for last night’s episode of iMPACT! on Spike TV are now available and they show some improvement. Last night’s episode scored a final cable rating of 1.16 which represented about 1,474,000 viewers over the course of the show’s two hours. This compares favorably to last week’s New Year’s Eve “Eve” episode which scored a final cable rating of 1.09 and an average audience of 1,395,000 viewers.
For comparison’s sake, we can talk about this fictitious Thursday Night War that exists as a comedy piece on this website. With that in mind, last night’s episode of Superstars scored a final cable rating of 0.58 on WGN America. The 0.58 cable rating represented a total audience of 588,000 viewers. Not only was iMPACT!’s rating double what Superstars’ rating was last night, but their audience was more than twice as big.
