Kevin Nash took to the Twitter-verse today to make some comments about TNA and Sting. From his Twitter account:
“tna calls sting the icon, yet he’s never worked for the WWE. wtf is with that? how come I’m not an icon in tna’s eyes? How bout ‘prick’ Nash”
“Wasn’t begging to be called an icon. Just wish tna appreciated me more for who I am and what I’ve done. Nash fans U make my life. Thanks!”
Nash also commented that he was not slighting Sting, “He is one of my dearest, closest friends for 20 plus years. Took care of me in my 1st 3 yrs in the business. No diss!”
My guess is this is a case of Kevin just being Kevin and trying to rile up the interweb folks. A lot of the sites that have covered this have failed to mention his post about it not being a diss of Sting. I’m sure Kevin understands the iconic image Sting has in the business. While Nash did indeed wrestle in both WWE and WCW the Stinger has had many opportunities to do the same but has declined.
Is he going to start ranting about Hogan not really being “immortal”? Or how he should be called the Nature Boy because he camps more than Ric Flair?
nash is a legend he should stop moaning though sting is an icon and ife is one of your closest friends dont be jeaous
sting worked for WWF didn’t he and stop being jealous of sting and HOGAN you should have worked more at TNA maybe they would have kept you arround whitedemo@aol.com
