According to a report by The Wrestling Observer TNA’s iMPACT! program may be taping somewhere besides the iMPACT Zone soon. The report states TNA is seriously considering the move in order to capture the excitement they generate at their live house shows.
Several reports in the past have indicated that TNA and SpikeTV officials have noted the difference in crowd reaction at the house shows.
The Wrestling Observer as we have noted in the past has a spotty record with it’s TNA sources so keep that in mind. I personally would like to see the shows taped on the road. I’m sure if it makes good business sense TNA will seriously consider the move.

Please TNA! Tape iMPACT from that small arena where Lockdown 2010 was hosted! Great crowd there! Really made the whole thing brilliant.
James says
TNA should’ve been moved on the road and they have no choice but to this if TNA is ever going to truly grow. One of the main problems that I always hear with TNA is the setting of the show always looking cheap.
Going on the road works and especially if the show is live, TNA could be a legit product going forward and grow its audience as it hits town to town like WWE does. Good move TNA if you do it.
Joe says
I agree, James. You watch a show in the iMPACT! Zone and you can only get the impression that you’re watching a second or third rate show. And that’s a damn shame because they have some of the most talented performers in the entire business right now.
William B. West says
When I was a kid I even noticed the difference in a studio show vs arena show. I always believed the NWA had the better talent but hated the TBS studio shows because they never felt real. The WWE Superstars program though often featuring 99% job matches always felt like I was watching something big due to it being filmed in an arena.
