According to reports by various websites and the Wrestling Observer the recently WWE released MVP has no current plans to pursue a career in TNA Wrestling. The reports state that MVP left on good terms with the WWE and is set on pursuing work in Japan and Europe. The feeling amongst these reports is that working for TNA may burn a bridge with the WWE and MVP wants to stay on good terms for an eventual return.
There have been zero reports of TNA having an interest in signing MVP but I’m sure they would be open to it under the right terms.
It is interesting to note that the same sites reporting that MVP might burn a bridge with the WWE if he signed with TNA also recently reported that the WWE does not consider TNA competition.

To the critics who claim TNA is not competition for the WWE, I often wonder exactly what it would take for them to admit that they are. I guess having 2 hours of prime time wrestling on national/world-wide TV isn’t good enough? Nor is having recognizable names? Or having its titles and status verified by every major wrestling magazine in the world? Or the fact that any wrestler who joins TNA is taken down from the Alumni section on WWE.com? Or what about the fact that some TNA broadcasts beat WWE broadcasts in the ratings? Or come very close on a steady, weekly basis? And I guess it was sheer coincidence that when TNA goes head-to-head with WWE, they typically bring out the big guns like the Bret Hart debut…or they bump their show up to 3 hours.

Also not to forget their unique X division and Tag team division, you won’t find wrestling anywhere else in the world like TNA. There is something missing in the WWE now, having not watched their show for years I do still read about their PG shows and that failure of a team nexus on the internet.
