Earlier tonight, Brother Ray gave a promo on ReAction about how he has always been over in the professional wrestling world (clearly, this is the world of fiction, folks). During his promo, Brother Ray mentioned that he was over when he won his first ECW Tag Team Championship, he was over when he won his first WWE Tag Team Championship, he was over when he won his first TNA Tag Team Championship, he was over when he won his first NWA Tag Team Championship, etc.
However, when Brother Ray said the call letters “ECW” and “WWE,” his voice was bleeped out of the show. I’m not sure what this means as TNA Wrestling is never afraid to comment on their direct competitors here in the States. It’s an interesting turn of events to say the least – and the type of weird mid-interview bleep that made me turn my head from typing on my laptop, rewind my DVR, and start watching the program.
