Just in time for Thanksgiving. Current TNA spanish announcer Hector Guerrero shoots to Bill Apter on the WWF’s (now WWE) Goobledy Gooker character that he portrayed on in the now infamous angle. Hector defends Vince McMahon and the storyline as meant for kids and not the adults who panned it. I was a kid at the time and didn’t like it, but I do appreciate Hector’s perspective. You can check out the video below:

wow, very original find. I distinctly remember submitting this to tnainsider.com and they posted it just minutes ago. The least you can do is give credit to them for the find.

So on November 25th you sent the good folks over at TNAinsider.com the link to a 1wrestling.com video which, by the way, was posted on YouTube on November 24th. And now because a reporter at TNAStars.com happened to come across that same November 24th YouTube video from 1wrestling.com (which is clearly branded with 1wrestling.com), you should receive some type of credit?
I guess it’s not within the realm of possibility that this reporter might have come across the 1wrestling.com video on… 1wrestling.com? You know – the same 1wrestling.com that is one of the most popular, longest running professional websites on the internet. In fact, if this reporter came across the video on November 24th and set this particular entry to appear on TNAStars.com when it appeared this morning (we do that a lot here since we have lives outside of internet wrestling), then don’t YOU owe HIM a credit somewhere? Come on – he saw 1wrestling.com’s video first, right?
And you want credit on TNAStars.com because you sent an e-mail to TNAinsider.com letting them know about this video?! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!
I’ll tell you what. After Jarrett Cox posts his iMPACT! results tonight on TNAStars.com I’ll go in and edit the “source” to include my buddy’s name because he watches iMPACT!, too, and on occasion IMs me about the results. And then I’ll add the local sports bar down here where I live because they always have one television showing iMPACT! on Thursday nights and some of my old college buddies watch the show there from time to time and then tell me about the show.
Here’s hoping that your original comment was a joke that I missed due to a tryptophan-induced stupor because if it was serious, you need to re-evaluate why you send news to fan-operated professional wrestling websites! Enjoy! 🙂

I must admit this is interesting. I just checked out the site that “ultimatetnafan” mentioned. It appears it is a TNA fan site that copy and pastes stories from various sources, including this site.
I have zero problem with them passing along news we publish here(though it would be nice to be credited when copying and pasting), I cannot imagine a “fan” of that site which appears to promote copying and pasting being upset that we covered a similar story. As far as I can tell the only similarity is the video which did not originate at “ultimatetnafan” favorite site but Youtube.
I won’t go into specifics as it’s the tools of the trade but there is a very easy way to “gather” trending TNA topics, videos and pictures from the internet without visiting “ultimatetnafan”‘s favorite TNA site.
For the record any quotes Joe or I use on this site are ALWAYS directly sourced.
Again let me say I have no beef with “ultimatetnafan” favorite site, but I am very certain they are likely embarrassed that he believes he is the only guy on the interweb to see the Bill Apter video. “ultimatetnafan” should Google Bill Apter sometime, he’s kind of a known entity by the wrestling community.

Where have they copied your news? I never heard of your site before. I submitted the video to tnainsider via twitter. I stumbled on the link to your site on twitter with an exact copy and paste of TNAinsider’s original post.looked around your site and they have much more news and exclusives than you guys. That’s not flaming you two, that’s honesty.
You talk about copy-paste jargon but you literally copied and pasted the news story from tnainsider. You failed to read your own time stamps before trying to make some lame attempt at defending your actions. Your story was posted AFTER tnainsider posted the news tip that i sent to them.

Just in time for thanksgiving,TNA Spanish Announcer Hector Guerrero has some stern words for critics of the infamous Goobledy Gooker Story that played on on WWF television many years ago. He speaks to 1Wrestling.com columnist Bill Apter about the gimmick. You can watch the video below to hear his explanation.

Almost the same exact subject and preface posted 11 minutes later.Coincidence? Does Apter’s story have anything like that? Let’s see hmmm

NOPE!
I don’t work for the site or anything. Like i said I visit their site, post on their forums and submit news because i like that “little fan site”. There are a bunch of new TNA sites on the net but I never even heard of you guys so it’s clear you aren’t even a big deal to be bothered with and honestly, i regret even posting here. You’re a complete waste of time. I stumbled on your story on twitter after i tweeted the link to tnainsider. At least TNAinsider gave me some recognition for the find but i guess that would hurt your ego a bit too much. Have fun copying.

I’m sorry you are so upset. Again I think you are a bit confused. I never called the site you mentioned “a little fan site”. It looks to be a decent operation. I mearly mentioned the fact that many stories from this site are copied there, again not a swipe just a fact. We are not in a competition with those guys, this site stands on it’s own. Have you been around the internet, there are literally millions of sites, and hundreds that cover TNA.
My contention is with the fact that you somehow believe that YOU are the only person that checks out Bill Apter’s stuff.
Btw Apter is credited in the video. I would email him and ask him if “Ultimatetnafan” should get credit for his work, but I can imagine the laughter would prevent him from replying.

BTW though it’s generally not good form to debate an internet troll, but for the benefit of “ultimateTNAfan”‘s sanity, to prove there is no conspiracy to steal his “news” I submit the following:

This is just one of dozens we can find using a simple scanning service. Again I have no gripe with you’re favorite site as they seem to be a fan site that enjoys supporting TNA. I would not go on to their site crying that we posted that before them, and I’m sure they don’t appreciate you coming here and crying in your milk either.
