The folks over at the Pro Wrestling Torch are reporting what most of us have come to expect each week at this point. Namely, last week’s episode of iMPACT! increased in viewership by approximately 200,000 viewers thanks to the addition of DVR watchers. Overall, this would bring last week’s total average viewership to about 1,577,000 throughout the night. Not bad.
If this were to be translated into a ratings number, then last week’s episode of iMPACT! would have jumped from a final cable rating of 1.07 to a final cable rating of 1.23. Again, this isn’t such a bad number, though it’s still less than where TNA Wrestling likely wants iMPACT! to be right now.
For more information on how iMPACT! has fared in the ratings for 2010, head over to TNAStars.com’s Ratings War area. Lots of good information stuffed on that page.
As for this fan, I’ll be interested to see how iMPACT! fares on Spike TV tomorrow night, when the majority of American households will either be in a tryptophan-induced coma or watching some good, old-fashioned football. And since I’ll be away traveling to see family and friends tomorrow night, I can tell you right now that I’ll be one of those DVR watchers for next week’s show! Enjoy!
