Reports are circulating around the interwebs that Jeff Hardy insulted the fans during last night’s iMPACT! tapings. The reports suggest that he told the fans to go buy groceries instead of spending their $25 on getting a picture with him in the ring. Apparently, both the folks at Universal Studios and TNA Wrestling were unaware that Hardy was going to treat the fans like this so they began offering refunds to the fans who had already paid to have a picture taken.
Here is a portion of the report as it appeared on the Pro Wrestling Insider website:
“Throughout the taping, TNA plugged that fans could take their picture with Jeff Hardy at the end of the taping for $25. However, when it came time for Hardy to come out, he insulted Jeremy Borash (who had introduced him to the crowd) and told the fans to go take their money and “go buy groceries.”
Hardy then went to the back and didn’t return. After several minutes, TNA and Universal Studios employees, who were completely confused and caught off guard by the situation, began refunding the money.”

I don’t really know what to make of this. I can see Jeff doing this without anyone else knowing. But I can see this being an old school way of gathering heat. Jeff is a top draw but you cant have your evil heel main star smiling and doing photo spots with kiddies.

Bahaha doesn’t matter either way. TNA screwed up so bad with his turn. That heel turn should’ve gone to either Angle or Anderson. Both are much better suited as heels. But I can see what you’re saying about gathering heat. That was my first thought after reading this.
