Jarrett’s Thoughts: It was a thrown together match with little buildup, but you can’t blame TNA for it. I feel that it is actually a good thing because you don’t know what to expect from these two.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Jeff Hardy retains
Joe’s Thoughts: The Monmouth University alumnus in me wants to suggest that my fellow alumnus Matt Morgan is going to beat Jeff Hardy and bring that gold back home to West Long Branch. However, the Immortal angle is too new and TNA Wrestling has banked too much of the promotion’s immediate future in it for Hardy to lose this match. What a shame for my fellow Hawks and I… it’s okay, guys. We’ll get that World Heavyweight Championship sooner or later!
Joe’s Prediction: Jeff Hardy
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: None
Jarrett’s Thoughts: It’s hard to pick a winner, If I were management I’d want the Machine Guns to get a big push from a veteran tag team, but I’d want 3D to look strong, it’ll be a good match, it’d be close, and it might leave with a 3D split (as in one turning heel)
Jarrett’s Prediction: Machine Guns retain
Joe’s Thoughts: I understand the purpose of this match and the idea that Team 3D is retiring as a tag team and want one last shot at the gold before going away. Okay, fine. However, I can’t see any use in having the Motor City Machine Guns lose this match. Yeah, it gives Team 3D a nice gift on their way out as a tag team, but it doesn’t do much for Machine Guns. I’m going with the Guns.
Joe’s Prediction: Motor City Machine Guns
William’s Thoughts:

TNA X-Division Championship
Jay Lethal vs. Robbie E. with Cookie
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Jay Lethal is still wearing the red and yellow although Hogan has turned heel. It’s not important, something I just noticed. I would love to see Robbie get a push, but I think he needs to get more over with the crowd. I sincerely hope this match gives Robbie E a chance to show the crowd what he can do, despite the gimmick
Jarrett’s Prediction: Robbie E wins the X Title
Joe’s Thoughts: Against my better judgment, I’m going with Robbie E. on this one. Look, I’m a fairly young Italian guy living on the Jersey Shore. I don’t watch the Jersey Shore show on MTV, but I don’t hate on those kids because, frankly, I have a lot of good friends who could easily fit into that show. So yes, I’m biased and yes, I’m a fan of TNA Wrestling’s Shore group. Robbie E. and Cookie for life!
Joe’s Prediction: Robbie E.

Winning Team Gets to Fire a Member of the Losing Team
Fortune vs. EV 2.0
Jarrett’s Thoughts: How can Fortune not win this. No one on their team should be fired from TNA. They’re money, there the future. I hate to say it, but EV2.0’s the past. I don’t see anything big happening for them. I wish it would have ended at Bound for Glory, but it’s not. It’s clear who wins
Jarrett’s Prediction: Fortune wins
Joe’s Thoughts: Given some of the news floating around the interwebs regarding Sabu’s future, I think that Fortune wins this one and then fires Sabu. However, with the clear in-fighting going on between Douglas Williams and the rest of Fortune, EV 2.0 could win the match and then fire Douglas Williams. Something tells me that with Immortal running the show, Sabu’s fate is already sealed.
Joe’s Prediction: Fortune

Lumberjack Match
Abyss vs. D’Angelo Dinero
Jarrett’s Thoughts: It’s a “I don’t care” match on the card to me. Thankfully it’s just one on this TNA PPV.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Abyss wins
Joe’s Thoughts: I don’t even know where to go with this (and I think I speak for the TNA Wrestling writers here, too). What happens now? Sting and Kevin Nash are gone from TNA Wrestling while this mega massive group called Immortal is in charge. We know that Nash isn’t coming back and that Sting is pretty much gone, but what happens to a guy like D’Angelo Dinero who – it seems – was just thrown into this thing randomly? I’m not sure, but I have to imagine that Abyss is going to kick this crap out of him tonight.
Joe’s Prediction: Abyss
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Abyss
Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Are we going to get a gimmicked ring for this? They gimmicked the ramp last week for Joe and why? Him coming down the ramp or from where Jarrett pushed him off would have been good enough. My ranting aside, I hope this is a good match, but I see it being a let down with Gunner and Murphy (Immortal Idiot security) interfering.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Jeff Jarrett wins
Joe’s Thoughts: You can pretty much read the comments for the D’Angelo Dinero vs. Abyss match and apply them here, too. My only additional comment is that Kurt Angle really ought to be the one fighting Jeff Jarrett here – that’s what the fans are looking for from the “Jarrett Gone Crazy” storyline. The focus is on Jarrett in this match so he comes away with the victory.
Joe’s Prediction: Jeff Jarrett
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Samoa Joe
Jarrett’s Thoughts: If you would have told me two years ago that these two would feud and face off on a TNA PPV, I’d say the day I became president of the United States and married Stacey Keibler. My joking aside, there is so many possibilities for this match, but the one certainty is that it will be a good match. Bottom line the fans go home happy seeing two women wrestling veterans put on a show and a match that is so good that it can’t be seen anywhere else in any company. TNA was known for the longest time as the place for the best women’s wrestling, and this is a step in the ring direction for becoming the same.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Mickie picks up the win
Joe’s Thoughts: Both of these women make the Knockouts division better simply by being under contract. However, when they get into the ring it makes the fans know that TNA Wrestling really does have the best women’s wrestling in any of the major promotions right now. I think Mickie James takes this match both as a “Welcome to TNA Wrestling” thing and because the fans need some of the faces to win tonight!
Joe’s Prediction: Mickie James
William’s Thoughts:

Tommy Dreamer vs. Rob Van Dam
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Dreamer and Van Dam, didn’t see this coming. I see Fortune interfering to get into RVD’s head some more
Jarrett’s Prediction: Dreamer wins
Joe’s Thoughts: The storyline where Eric Bischoff has Rob Van Dam going crazy and believing that no one is on his side was old almost immediately after it started. Frankly, I’d rather watch Rob Van Dam join forces with Mr. Anderson, Matt Morgan, EV 2.0, Samoa Joe, and D’Angelo Dinero to take down Immortal. But I guess Vince Russo is going to make us wait for that big showdown…
Joe’s Prediction: Rob Van Dam
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Tommy Dreamer
