Several wrestling news (dirt sheet)sites are reporting that Sabu will soon be gone from TNA Wrestling. According to sources Sabu was recently informed by TNA officials that his services will no longer be needed after the Turning Point PPV. Sabu was reportedly upset by the decision. Creative is said to have run out of “ideas” for Sabu. If this is indeed the case one has to wonder how “creative” those people actually are.
As always remember to take these dirtsheet reports with a grain of slat as they are usually a 50/50 or less guess by the major dirt sheets. In recent months The Dudleys were reported gone from TNA and ReAction was reported canceled by the major sheets, both untrue.
I remember when they were reporting that Jericho was gone from the WWE recently…and he stuck around for another month. The same with Rhino. They were saying he was finishing up at BFG but he’s still around. I like Sabu but you can tell he isn’t what he use to be. And rightly so. You can’t wrestle his style for as long as he has and still be in your prime. But TNA should really find something for the guy.
I wonder what Sabu could do these days if he had the opportunity. Could he be in the main event hunt? What about in the hunt for the X Division title? I’m not sure what he’s got left in the tank, but like you say – how long can you wrestle his style and stay at it?
