Several sources are reporting on the reason for TNA Knockout Daffney lack of TV time. Apparently according to the sources Daffney suffered several injuries in her match with Miss Betsy (Rosie Lottalove) prior to Betsy’s release. Daffney is said to have been diagnosed with a bruised sternum, concussion and suffered a stinger during the bout.
If these reports are true then this makes a lot more sense about her release on TNA’s part, much more so than the rumors that her release was related to her size and appearance. TNA knew what size she was when they signed her, I always thought it was ridiculous that people thought that it was a new discovery on their part. Her build is very much a part of her character. If TNA had wanted cookie cutter “Beautiful People” as many stories suggested I doubt very seriously they would have signed her in the first place.
