A video package runs focusing on Kane vs. The Undertaker tonight in a Buried Alive match for the WWE World Heavyweight championship.
A graphic opening then hits voiced by Michael Cole focusing on the “Bragging Rights” of Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown tonight.
We go live to the Target Center in Minneapolis where a display of pyro goes off. We get a close up of the Buried Alive grave site.
Excuse me! Vickie Guerrero is out first to kick off the show and introduces WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler.
Champion vs. Champion
WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler vs. WWE United States Champion Daniel Bryan
Lots of grappling early on by Ziggler trying to ground Bryan. Bryan eventually starts to counter and bails to the outside. Ziggler puts Vickie in front of her to avoid an attack from Bryan. Bryan then leaps off the ring apron and catches Ziggler with a high knee. Big dropkick charge in the corner by Bryan on Ziggler. Ziggler starts working over the shoulder of Bryan. Very loud “LETS GO BRYAN” chant from the crowd in Minneapolis. Few roll up attempts by Bryan. Ziggler with a big inverted bodyslam on Bryan for a two count. Bryan attempts a comeback and Ziggler drops him back down on the mat on his head. Cole, Lawler and Striker are all taking shots at Vickie on commentary including that when she claps on Ziggler that her “arms jiggle.” Ziggler continues to work over Bryan and takes his back applying a body scissors and looking for a sleeper. Bryan catches Ziggler with a big boot, but misses a running charge in the corner. While discussing Bryan on commentary, Striker said not to forget what the other “W” in WWE stands for and that is what Bryan brings to this company every time he wrestles. Ziggler with a big snap fireman’s carry. Bryan with a jawbreaker on Ziggler. Ziggler misses a shot in the corner catching his head on the turnbuckle.
Bryan starts lighting up Bryan with a series of kicks to the legs and then a big kick to the face. Bryan with a big clothesline on Ziggler after flipping back over Ziggler in the corner. Bryan with a flying forearm to the face, cover and Ziggler kicks out after two. Bryan catches Ziggler with another big kick to the face and follows that with a big springboard missile dropkick. Hook of the leg and Ziggler again kicks out after two. Ziggler with a quick roll up, Bryan kicks out and then drops Bryan with a huge superkick. Ziggler attempts his inverted neckbreaker, but Bryan counters and catches Ziggler with another big kick. Ziggler crotches Bryan up on the top turnbuckle. Bryan then slides under Ziggler and crotches him up top. Bryan climbs up with Ziggler, takes his back, attempts a superplex, but Ziggler shifts his body in mid air and comes across Bryan with a cross body. Bryan kicks out of that and we get a few pin attempts by both. We then get a huge mid air collision between the two. Another close pinfall attempt by Ziggler on Bryan. Ziggler locks on a sleeper on Bryan and drops down to apply it more. Bryan reaches out and gets the bottom rope. Bryan locks on the LeBell Lock. Ziggler tires to fight it, but ends up tapping out.
Winner: Daniel Bryan
After the match, Vickie Guerrero argues with the referee. The referee then sends both Guerrero and Ziggler to the back.
Backstage, The Miz and Alex Riley are watching the end of that match. Miz said he taught Bryan everything he knows and Team Raw is getting off to a great start tonight. Sheamus walks up and says no one is going to take orders from Miz tonight. CM Punk walks up and said Miz is barely Captain Crunch. Santino walks up and tells everyone to “chillax.” He wants to know where the snacks and beverages are. Punk said he knows Team Smackdown the best out of anyone and that he should be making the orders tonight. Santino wants an order of Sun Chips. Sheamus said he will kick anyone’s head off that gets in his face. Punk laughs. Everyone walks off except for Punk and Miz. Miz wants Punk’s help tonight so they can beat Team Smackdown because “they are awesome.” Punk laughs and seems to disagree.
WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre are on their way out to the ring. McIntyre says everyone in the back is scared of them and won’t face them. The Raw GM has something to say. There is a tag team on Raw that is worthy of facing Rhodes and McIntyre tonight. The Nexus music hits. Wade Barrett walks out and says tonight will be the greatest night ever in the history of The Nexus. He introduces their next opponents…David Otunga and John Cena.
WWE Tag Team Championships
Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre vs. John Cena & David Otunga
We start with Cody Rhodes and David Otunga. Rhodes drop toe holds Otunga right away and tags in Drew McIntyre. McIntyre with big shots to Otunga in the corner. Quick tag back to Rhodes who works over Otunga with some big kicks. Tag to McIntyre and both launch Otunga into the corner with force. Otunga finally breaks free and tags in John Cena. Lock up and Cena pushes Rhodes to the corner. Rhodes with a big forearm to the head on Cena. Cena fires back with a big snap suplex. Cena with a hanging vertical suplex on Rhodes. Otunga is yelling at Cena to tag him in. Rhodes with a big uppercut to Cena. Tag to McIntyre who stomps over the head of Cena. McIntyre with a facebuster on Cena. We are getting some back-and-forth chants with, “LETS GO CENA” and “CENA SUCKS.” Tag to Rhodes who locks on a modified camel clutch on Cena. Cena powers out, series of shoulder blocks, attempts his twisting powerbomb, Rhodes counters and tags in McIntyre. Cena then drops McIntyre with his powerbomb and does the “you can’t see me” motion to Otunga. Five knuckle shuffle on McIntyre. Rhodes distracts Cena and McIntyre attempts his DDT. Tag to Rhodes who is dropped down and put in an STF by Cena. Rhodes taps.
Winners & NEW WWE Tag Team Champions: John Cena & David Otunga
After the match, David Otunga grabs the WWE Tag Team Championships and starts celebrating. Otunga then hands one of the belts to Cena and goes to celebrate more when Cena gives him an Attitude Adjustment. Cena then walks off with both of the WWE Tag Team Championship belts and heads to the back.
Video is played of Goldust playing mind games with Ted DiBiase and stealing his million dollar title. Backstage, Ted DiBiase said tonight he makes an example out of Goldust and takes back his title.
Ted DiBiase w/ Maryse vs. Goldust w/ Aksana
Ted DiBiase goes after Goldust right away dropping him in the corner and hitting some big kicks. Goldust tosses DiBiase out of the ring and then launched him shoulder first into the padded guard railing. Back in the ring, DiBiase catches Goldust with a big kick to the head when Goldust was climbing up the turnbuckle. DiBiase catches Goldust with a big elbow and dropkick combo for a two count. DiBiase with another quick clothesline on Goldust. DiBiase drops a series of elbows over Goldust. DiBiase with a modified russian leg sweep over his knee on Goldust. DiBiase with a big kick to the head, cover and another kick out by Goldust. DiBiase applies a headlock over Goldust. Goldust fights back dropping DiBiase with a big back suplex. Goldust with a series of clotheslines, uppercut, atomic drop and running bulldog on DiBiase. Goldust hits the ropes attempt a big charge on DiBiase, but DiBiase drops down and Goldust goes flying through the ropes and out of the ring. Goldust drops DiBiase’s head off the top rope, goes up top, but DiBiase catches him in mid air with a big dropkick for a two count. Goldust with a snap powerslam on DiBiase. Goldust counters Dream Street, but DiBiase then catches him with a big spinebuster. Goldust with a big shoulder charge dropping DiBiase. Maryse then runs up and takes out Aksana on the outside. She tosses Aksana in the ring and Aksana starts crying. Goldust checks on Aksana and this distraction allows DiBiase to hit a quick DDT and gets the pin on Goldust.
Winner: Ted DiBiase
After the match, Maryse grabs the million dollar belt and gets in the ring. Aksana tackles Maryse and hits her head against the mat. Aksana takes back the million dollar belt. DiBiase gets in her face. Aksana teases she is going to kiss DiBiase when Goldust comes from behind and drops him with his twisting suplex.
Before the match, Team Laycool makes fun of the crowd in Minneapolis saying it is so cold here they like their women “large.” They also tell Brett Favre to stop sending them certain kinds of text messages.
WWE Unified Divas Championship
Layla (c) w/ Michelle McCool vs. Natalya
Natalya shows off her strength early on against Layla. Layla fires back dropkicking Natalya out of the ring. Michelle McCool tries to interfere, but Natalya grabs her leg and sends her into the padded guard railing. McCool comes back pulling Natalya off the ring apron to the outside. Natayla’s head bounced off the padded ground. Layla with a big dropkick to the back of Natalya. Layla applies a modifed armbar on Natalya’s right arm. Natayla is able to power up and scoop slam Layla. Natalya with a big clothesline. Natayla with a big hook suplex and clothesline combo. Layla catches Natalya with a kick to the face, but Natalya fires back with a dropkick. Natalya attempts a Sharpshooter, but Layla grabs the ropes and pulls herself out. Layla grabs her title and starts heading to the back when Natalya catches up with her and tosses her back in the ring. Natalya also knocks down McCool at ringside. McCool then gets in a cheap shot on Natalya and Layla covers her for the pinfall.

Josh Mathews is standing inside the empty grave for tonight’s Buried Alive match. A video package runs focusing on Kane vs. The Undertaker tonight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Buried Alive match.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship – Buried Alive Match
Kane (c) w/ Paul Bearer vs. The Undertaker
The Undertaker wastes no time and goes after Kane right away. Taker with big right hands to Kane and sends him into the steel ring steps. Taker tosses aside the top part of the steel steps and sends Kane face first into it. Taker tosses Kane in the ring and gets in a big charge in the corner. A loud “WE WANT BLOOD” chant starts up. Kane bails out and catches Taker with a big uppercut. Taker follows Kane into the crowd and they brawl near some of the production area. Kane starts walking up the steps and Taker holds him back. Taker stands over Kane’s head applying pressure. Taker with a headbutt and right hand combo on Kane. Big body shots from Taker on Kane. Taker grabs Kane and tosses him over the guard railing to the ringside area. Taker then starts throwing steel chairs in the ring. Taker tosses Kane back in the ring, but pulls him out over the ring apron and drops a leg. Taker grabs part of the announce table and tosses it over Kane. Kane quickly rolls out and Taker launches him over the guard railing in the other side of the arena. They brawl back to the ringside area and Kane is in first. Kane with a shot to the ribs of Taker with a steel chair and then over the back. Kane with another shot over the back using a chair.
Kane continues to beat Taker over his body with the steel chair. Kane then starts choking Taker using the chair. Another shot over the back of Taker by Kane using the steel chair. Kane with a big chokeslam on Taker. Kane with a second chokeslam on Taker. Kane pulls Taker out of the ring and tosses him over his shoulder. Kane starts walking over to the grave site when Taker jumps off and gives Kane a quick uppercut. Kane then responds with an uppercut of his own. Taker with big right hands. Kane with another uppercut. Taker with more shots to Kane including more body shots. Both climb to the top of the Buried Alive grave site and Kane throws dirt in the eye of Taker. Kane tries to drag Taker into the empty grave when Taker sits up and applies Hell’s Gate. Kane starts tapping out right away, but we are reminded you can’t win by pinfall or submission in this match. Kane then passes out and Taker tosses him inside the empty grave. Paul Bearer is standing by the grave site and Taker pushes his face in the dirt. Taker picks up Bearer, but The Nexus hit the scene. Taker fights them off for a little bit, but then they get the advantage and beat down Taker. Kane stands up from inside the empty grave and gets out as Nexus continues its beat down.
Kane grabs Paul Bearer’s urn and knocks out Taker with it who falls inside the empty grave. Members of The Nexus start throwing dirt over Taker. Kane tells them to leave. He then stands back, does his pyro pose and a bulldozer drops a large amount of dirt into the empty grave over The Undertaker.
Winner & STILL WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Kane
After the match, Kane is handed the title and he leaves with Paul Bearer as we see a close up of the grave site filled with dirt. Kane heads to the back when The Undertaker’s music hits. Lightning hits the grave stone and Undertaker’s logo appears on the front of the grave stone as his music continues to play.
Backstage, Josh Mathews is with WWE Champion Randy Orton. Mathews asks about John Cena being in Wade Barrett’s corner tonight. Orton says he has no problem dropping Cena tonight.
Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown
Team Raw (The Miz as captain, CM Punk, Sheamus, John Morrison, R-Truth, Santino Marella & Ezekiel Jackson) vs. Team Smackdown (Big Show as captain, Rey Mysterio, Edge, Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston & Tyler Reks)
We start with Tyler Reks (Smackdown) and John Morrison (Raw). Morrison with some big shots to Reks in the corner. Reks with a big shoulder tackle on Morrison. Morrison with a dropkick sending Reks to the corner. Morrison with a big side kick. Tag to Santino (Raw) who sets up a Morrison dropkick. Santino with a quick body splash on Reks. Santino is ready for the Cobra when Reks drops him with a big elbow. Reks with a modified death valley driver and gets the pin on Santino.
Santino Marella (Team Raw) has been eliminated.
Ezekiel Jackson (Raw) gets the tag. Reks is taken down quickly and tags in Big Show (Smackdown captain). Big Show with a big chest chop on Big Zeke. Big Show with a big scoop slam on Jackson and tags in Rey Mysterio (Smackdown) who connects with a big springboard leg drop. Tag to Kofi Kingston (Smackdown). Jackson clotheslines both Mysterio and Kingston. Tag to Sheamus (Raw). Sheamus sends Kingston face first into the turnbuckle. Sheamus with a big scoop slam on Kingston. Kingston with a big kick to the face of Sheamus and a huge cross body off the top. Kingston with a Boom Drop on Sheamus. Sheamus grabs the bottom rope when Kingston hits the S.O.S. Kingston leaps up on the shoulders of Sheamus in the corner. Sheamus tosses Kingston into the ring post, puts him on his shoulders and hits the High Cross powerbomb for a pinfall.
Kofi Kingston (Team Smackdown) has been eliminated.
Sheamus goes after Mysterio right away and pulls him to the Team Raw corner. Tag to CM Punk (Raw) who gets a huge reaction from the crowd in Minneapolis. Mysterio catches Punk with a kick in the corner, but Punk counters with a big powerslam. Tag to Sheamus who works over Mysterio with big kicks to the ribs. Sheamus with a huge clothesline on Mysterio. Tag back to Punk. Alberto Del Rio (Smackdown) tags himself in on Mysterio. Del Rio misses a kick and is shoved into Mysterio on the ring apron. Del Rio catches Punk with a big kick to the head. Del Rio leaves the ring to toss Punk back in, but then grabs Mysterio and tosses him into the padded guard railing. Big Show starts yelling at Del Rio who smiles. Mysterio is favoring his shoulder as another WWE referee and staff check on him. Del Rio with a german suplex into a bridge. Tag to Jack Swagger (Smackdown). It appears Mysterio is done and being taken to the back. Swagger with a big belly-to-belly on Punk. Punk with a big kick to the head of Swagger. Tag to Morrison who works over Swagger in the corner with big right hands. Morrison with a springboard flash kick. Swagger with a big shoulder powerslam on Morrison. Morrison dodges an ankle lock attempt and catches Swagger with a big kick. Morrison with Starship Pain and gets the pin on Swagger.
Jack Swagger (Team Smackdown) has been eliminated.
Reks is now in working over Morrison. Morrison with an inverted dropkick to Reks. Tag to Sheamus who drops Reks with a series of clotheslines. Reks knocks Morrison off the ring apron. Sheamus with his huge big boot to the face on Reks and cover. Reks is gone.
Tyler Reks (Team Smackdown) has been eliminated.
Big Show goes after Sheamus right away tossing him over the top rope. Sheamus takes out Hornswoggle at ringside. Big Show and Sheamus start brawling up the entrance area. The referee is counting and is now at 6. Big Show realizes, turns around, but is too late and both Big Show and Sheamus have been counted out.
Big Show (Team Smackdown captain) has been eliminated.
Sheamus (Team Raw) has been eliminated.
Edge (Smackdown) and R-Truth (Raw) are now in. Edge dodges an axe kick and hits a Spear. Truth is gone.
R-Truth (Team Raw) has been eliminated.
Edge with a Spear on John Morrison. Morrison is gone.
John Morrison (Team Raw) has been eliminated.
Punk dodges a Spear attempt by Edge and Alberto Del Rio gets the tag. Punk with a backslide pin on Del Rio. Del Rio is gone.
Alberto Del Rio (Team Smackdown) has been eliminated.
As Del Rio is leaving, Rey Mysterio attacks him from behind. Mysterio is now back in the match. The Miz (Raw captain) is now in and cuts off Edge from tagging in Mysterio. Team Raw is Miz, CM Punk and Ezekiel Jackson, while Team Smackdown is Edge and Rey Mysterio. Jackson gets in a cheap shot as the referee is distracted by Miz. Tag to Jackson who works over Edge and stands on his head. Jackson with a scoop slam and elbow drop combo on Edge. Tag to Miz who kicks Edge in the face. Miz with his knee to the back and neckbreaker combo on Edge for a close two count. Tag to Punk who starts stomping over Edge. Edge gets Punk on his shoulders and drops him with an electric chair. Tag to Mysterio who connects with a body splash on Punk. Punk dodges another attack with a kick to the gut. Mysterio responds with a kick to the head. Mysterio with a springboard cross body, but Punk rolls through for a close two count. Mysterio counters a GTS attempt by Punk. Pin attempts between Punk and Mysterio. Mysterio sends Punk into the ropes. 619 and body splash. Mysterio covers Punk and gets the pinfall.
CM Punk (Team Raw) has been eliminated.
Jackson gets the tag and swipes Mysterio across the ring. Jackson with a huge scoop slam on Mysterio and stomps over his left arm. Mysterio with a kick to Jackson. Another kick. Jackson with a big shoulder charge on Mysterio. Jackson sends Mysterio into the corner. Mysterio fires back with a kick to the face and dropkick to the knee sending Jackson into the ropes. Mysterio attempts a dropkick, but Jackson swats him away. Mysterio with a DDT on Jackson countering in mid air. Mysterio dropkicks Jackson into the ropes. 619 and body splash. Mysterio comes down hard over Jackson’s knee. Everyone seems confused. They confirm Jackson is gone.
Ezekiel Jackson (Team Raw) has been eliminated.
Mysterio sends Miz into the ropes. Miz is back up and Mysterio sends him into the other ropes. Riley wraps his body around Miz and takes the 619 from Mysterio. Mysterio up for a body splash, but Miz gets his knees up and gets a close two count. Tag to Edge who hits a huge Spear on Miz. Cover and Miz is gone.
The Miz (Team Raw captain) has been eliminated.
Winners: Team Smackdown (Edge and Rey Mysterio survive)
After the match, Edge is handed the Bragging Rights trophy and celebrates along with Rey Mysterio. Matt Striker celebrates at ringside. Hornswoggle gets in the ring and celebrates with Edge and Mysterio. Edge hands the trophy to Hornswoggle and he falls over.

WWE Championship
Randy Orton (c) vs. Wade Barrett w/ John Cena
Before the match, we got ring introductions for the challenger Wade Barrett and champion Randy Orton. Barrett took the mic and told Cena that if he loses tonight then he would be firing Cena.
Lock up and Barrett pushes Orton to the corner. Orton fires back with a few uppercuts and launches Barrett with force into the turnbuckle. It’s all Barrett early on working over Orton in the corner and then on the mat. Barrett yelled at Cena to go after Orton when he wants him to. Cena just looks on. Barrett again gets in Cena’s face to help him when Orton attacks Barrett from behind. Back in the ring, Orton applies a headlock on Orton keeping the action grounded. Barrett rolls out and Orton gives him a big uppercut. They brawl closer to where Cena is and Barrett sends Orton shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Back in the ring, Barrett hits Orton with a few jabs and then a big right hand. Barrett drops an elbow over the chest of Orton after coming off the second rope. Barrett drops Orton with a big headbutt and then goes back to a headlock. Barrett brawls with Orton on the outside and continues to look over at Cena who has yet to get involved in the match. Another headlock by Barrett trying to wear Orton down. Orton with a big dropkick on Barrett who rolls out of the ring. As Barrett gets back in through the ropes, Orton attempts his DDT, Barrett breaks free and we get a referee bump.
Barrett yells at Cena to get up on the ring apron with referee down. Barrett is sent into the ropes and takes out Cena. The remaining members of The Nexus hit the ring and start attacking Orton. Cena starts tackling members of Nexus and throwing them out of the ring. Orton gives Slater an RKO. Barrett grabs Cena and asks him what he is doing. Cena yells that if he didn’t clear house the referee would have disqualified Barrett. The referee comes to and is getting in the ring when Barrett puts Orton on his shoulders. Orton jumps off, hits a series of clotheslines and a big snap powerslam. Barrett rolls to the ring apron, Orton brings him back in and connects with his DDT through the second rope. Orton is firing himself up for an RKO. Cena is getting in the ring. Cena charges, grabs Barrett and gives him an Attitude Adjustment. The referee calls for the bell. Cena stares down Orton as we get the ruling.

Winner & STILL WWE Champion: Randy Orton
After the match, Randy Orton gives John Cena an RKO when Cena goes to hand him the title belt. Orton grabs the WWE Championship and celebrates on the corner. Cole, Lawler and Striker talk about how technically Barrett won the match even though the title didn’t change hands. Orton with an RKO on Wade Barrett. We see a replay of the finish. Back live, Orton continues to celebrate as the PPV goes off the air.
