Michael Zoran says
My family and I were able to meet several of the TNA Superstars in Port Huron, Michigan at McMorran Place Sports Center.
I would like to say it was incredibly fun to meet Jay Lethal because I made a big sign for him that said “LETHAL MACHISMO OH YEAHHH.” Jay autographed my program and my sign and took pictures with my family. My family absolutely loved Jay and thought he was very fun to talk with. I am now going to have the sign framed. Thank you for being such a great guy, Jay.
My family and I were also able to meet Rob Van Dam. I would like to say it was an honor and a pleasure to meet Rob Van Dam. My mom said she thought Rob Van Dam was very nice because of the kind way he said “It’s very nice to meet you” in such a sincere way.
For the record, I would like to officially apologize to Rob Van Dam for making a sign that said “IMMORTAL POWER” and raising it during his match with A.J. Styles. There was one moment in particular when the camera lights shined on the audience after RVD knocked A.J. Styles down. RVD climbed to the top of the ropes to ask the audience to cheer for him, and I raised my “IMMORTAL POWER” sign because the lights were on the audience…I thought it would be a good opportunity to see my sign on TV.
Well, it just about broke my heart when RVD looked at my sign while he was standing on the top rope. Rob saw me holding it — apparently recognizing me from when he took pictures with my family. Rob looked at the sign and just shook his head in a bit a disappointment, as if he was saying to himself “Whatever, I did all I could to gain your support.” My mom didn’t know what that sign said, and she feels really bad that Rob saw me holding that sign up.
Rob…I want to make it 100% clear that you have 100% support from my family and I. I think I’m going to record my mom and I ripping that IMMORTAL POWER sign that I made…I only made that thing because I am a lifetime supporter of Hulk Hogan. Next time I get the chance, I will make a sign that says “Rob Van Dam” with the letters RVD capitalized and underlined.
My family and I also thought it was great to meet Abyss. He is such a big guy to see in front of you, yet such a nice guy in person. My mom is only 5’4″ and my sister is 5’7″, yet Abyss was obviously way over a foot taller than either of them.
My mom was nervous to take a picture with Abyss because of the scary and violent things he has done with Janice recently. In fact, my mom originally was scared to have her picture taken with Abyss. But, once she met Abyss and saw how nice he is in person, she was very happy to take her picture with him. I was surprised to see that as soon as my mom had me take a picture of her with Abyss, she was suddenly asking him if he wouldn’t mind taking a picture with my sister! Abyss kindly said, “I would be honored.”
Abyss is a class act when he isn’t acting like a Monster inside the ring. By the way, I loved it when Abyss was asking for support from the fans by waving his hands in a circular motion towards his ear the way Hulk Hogan used to do! Abyss is one of the reasons why I support Immortal. I wish Hulk Hogan would give Abyss back that Hall of Fame ring. Using the power of Hulkamania Abyss has the ability to choke slam people through the ring!
Jeff Jarrett was also a great person to meet and take pictures with. Inside the ring, Jeff was as mean as it gets and seemed to really hate the fans. But outside the ring Jeff seemed to really care about the fans; he even noticed that my family of four were together as “a group,” as he said. My sister told Jeff that she was glad he lost, but he just laughed. I told Jeff that I was pleased he was part of Immortal, and he said he was glad to hear it.
I only met A.J. Styles and Rhino briefly, but I was able to get their autographs on the incredibly nice programs that TNA sells. Everyone I spoke with agreed TNA makes the best programs they’ve ever seen. I told A.J. that I thought he was “Phenomenal” and he thanked me for offering the support. A.J. seemed to be the most hated person of the night when he wrestled against RVD, though. A.J. may have brought some of this heat on himself, though, since he was yelling at people telling them NOT to take his picture!
Samoa Joe was also a great person to meet and get an autograph from. My mother and I were able to take a picture with Samoa Joe, and I have to say that Samoa Joe really takes a great picture with his trademark pose that he does with his hand. My mom was nervous to get in the picture with him, but he was a nice guy and encouraged her by nicely saying “C’mon, get in the picture, too.” My mom was glad he said that because she likes him, watches him every time he is on TV, and was able to take a great picture with him. By the way, does anyone know who the heck kidnapped Samoa Joe several months ago! Hopefully we will find out in the future.
Finally, Velvet Sky and Angelina Love were the last wrestlers I received autographs from. I was very impressed to see that both Velvet and Angelina are excellent people to meet because they are very kind. I told the Beautiful People how much I love watching them, and they were kind enough to take their picture with me and my mom.
Velvet Sky and Angelina Love were signing autographs during the halftime intermission, but there were so many fans that wanted their autograph the matches started up again. Thankfully, the Beautiful People took the time to make sure everyone got an autograph.
Like I said before, the lights had been turned out because the matches started up again, so my camera had the wrong setting on when I asked a friend to take my picture. The Beautiful People were so sweet; they waited while I briefly adjusted it. My mom asked the Beautiful People if they would sign her program, and they both reached for it with Angelina Love enthusiastically saying in such a kind way “Oh, give it here!” with a smile on her face. You could tell Velvet Sky and Angelina Love really enjoyed signing autographs and meeting their fans. I feel much more handsome now that I have been cleansed by the Beautiful People. 🙂
My mom just kept saying that the Beautiful People were so sweet to meet in person…I was pretty ticked off that Velvet Sky lost the match to Madison Rayne…Although I have to say that I enjoyed the way all those girls entered the ring. 😉 I love rooting for Velvet Sky. I was yelling “VELVET SKY IS A STAR!” the whole time.
Well, it was a great time watching TNA in Port Huron, Michigan! I’m glad Rob was able to get the victory in his home state of Michigan. Rob, if I would have known you were going to be the one competing for the championship, I would have made a sign for you.
Thanks again TNA Superstars. If any of you read this and want to see any of the pictures I took, just email me at michaelzoran@hotmail.com
RVD, if you happen to read this, it would make my mom feel really good to know that you heard our apology about the way I was holding that “IMMORTAL POWER” sign up when the camera was on you and that part of the audience. Please feel free to send me an email at michaelzoran@hotmail.com and it would mean a lot for us to know you heard our apology. We want you to know that we enjoyed cheering for you and taking pictures with you. My mom says she loved that cool pose you did with your hand and a nice smile when you took a picture with her.
Sincerely,
Michael Zoran
