One of The Beautiful People was in attendance at last night’s Texas Rangers vs. New York Yankees game. As reported on TNAWrestling.com, Lacey Von Erich was in attendance and celebrating the victory due, in part, to the fact that the Rangers have adopted The Claw this year. For those of you that don’t know, The Claw is the famous wrestling move that the Von Erich family made famous during their days in World Class Championship Wrestling and other Texas-based promotions. The Texas Rangers are going to the World Series for the first time in team history – and Lacey Von Erich was back home Friday, in Arlington, for the celebration.
Von Erich was at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington on Friday, hours before the first pitch, walking around the stadium. She signed autographs, posed for photos, did media interviews on radio and TV, including a four-minute live segment on Fox-TV.
And she talked about the famous Von Erich finishing hold, The Claw.
The Rangers have adopted The Claw this season, and of course the Von Erich’s have a decades-long tradition of The Claw right here in Dallas.
The Rangers defeated the New York Yankees, 6-1, and Von Erich couldn’t be happier.
Jaymes Reed says
I hope the claw brings the Rangers more luck than it did the Von Erichs 🙁
