Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
While we hate to report some of the “news” that comes out the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (which is more or less a single man’s opinion on a variety of topics), the following numbers were printed in the opinion journal regarding TNA Wrestling’s recent attendance figures.
* 10/14 in Rockford, Illinois: 700 fans.
* 10/15 in Racine, Wisconsin: 700 fans.
* 10/16 in Dubuque, Iowa: 850 fans.
* 10/17 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois (suburb of Chicago): 900 fans (slightly more than what ROH drew the night before in Chicago Ridge with 730 fans).
We’re not sure if any of this information is confirmed and, like most Observer “reports,” we’re sure that the numbers that TNA Wrestling has on file versus what the Observer reports as final are different. However, until the wrestling company independently confirms or refutes any of these numbers, we suggest taking them with a grain of salt.

You know, it probably bugs hard TNA critics like Dave Meltzer or James Caldwell when they have to report positive TNA stories. From them, WWE gets excuses like “Oh, the ratings are down because of NFL season” but TNA makes strides in attendence and it’s not suprising to read “I bet they papered it” or if iMPACT ratings rise, they’ll say “Eh, nothing else is on on Thursdays”. God forbid they give some credit where it is due.
