As we reported earlier J-Woww made her debut this past week at the iMPACT! tapings in an angle with TNA’s The Shore featuring Robbie E and Cookie and now according to several sources Jersey Shore reality star J-Woww will be featured on the cover of the next issue of Entertainment Weekly. Apparently, the two page accompanying article focuses a great deal on her foray into the ring with TNA Wrestling.
Many Monday Night wrestling quarterbacks highly criticized TNA for J-Woww’s reported $15,000 payday. With major publications like Entertainment Weekly charging in the mid tens of thousands for a full page ad, this alone makes this deal a steal.
I read that the J-Woww segment was moved late into the show, and that J-Woww tweeted to her fans to check her out on iMPACT and then catch Jersey Shore aferwards at 10. She’s doing cross promotion apparently. I dont watch Jersey Shore but if TNA gets some good press out this and an increase in viewership, I’m all for it. At least TNA is getting someone relevant right now in pop culture instead of the nobodies and pop culture fossils WWE is digging up for RAW.
