As we reported earlier, the Wrestling Observer news letter did a hit piece on TNA Knockout Mickie James. The Observer claimed that James had a Diva fit backstage prior to Bound For Glory. Many withing the industry were perplexed as Mickie James has never gavew any indications in the past that she was trouble. We at TNAStars.com called this story for what it was a hit job. Mickie James confirmed today that these were indeed lies from her official Twitter account:
“I usually don’t even bother to entertain ignorance. But to report blatant lies is quite humorous… Anyone who knows me… Knows I would never behave like that… And they also know I respect & appreciate everyone as we all work hard as a team to make an incredible product. Fact! The seamstress already knew she was putting the logo on the shirt Thursday. Fact. I bought a ref shirt to make but when Earl gave me one of his official TNA shirts I couldn’t resist. Fact. Post match I gave the shirt to the trading card company to be cut up and added to the new cards coming soon. =)
Fact… To feed lies to the internet with the intent of maliciously harming someone’s reputation obviously says a lot about ones character & own insecurities… I pity them.. And send them love anyway… Fact! To report a blatant lie is not only bad journalism… But unprofessional. But hey… I guess that’s why they’re called dirt sheets… Lmao… I just wanted to clear that up gang! Much love.. And goodnight! Muah!”
I don’t look for any of the cut and paste sites to issue a retraction, I doubt they read what they post. Many have speculated the Wrestling Observer’s anger towards Mickey is based off their false report that she had signed with TNA, when in fact she had yet to sign anything. Mickie issued a statement at the time disproving that “news” item. The “big” Dirt Sheet sites are likely to go the way of the traditional big media companies if they don’t get their act together soon.

Boy, that’ll be the day – right? When the mindless drones stop copying and pasting Meltzer’s opinion and reporting it as a “fact.” Ha ha! As usual, the Observer proves that it is now an obscure newsletter for mindless weirdos who like to hear one man’s opinion and take it as fact.

Idiots, that was me who had a ‘Diva Fit’ backstage. They wouldn’t sort my M&M’s by color!
