In a recent interview with Booboo Stewart on the TNA Wrestling website, Mr. Anderson said that he sees himself contributing behind the scenes in another ten years. He added that he doesn’t think he’ll be actively wrestling at that time, either. This is what he had to say:
I see myself hopefully contributing back behind the scenes at TNA and continuing a fruitful movie career with a possible series or at least a spot as a series regular on TV. I plan on sticking around and helping and doing what I can, but don’t see myself still wrestling. I do have the utmost respect for those that stick it out. I just beat my body up for the past 11 years already, and I want to be able to walk on my own. I see guys like the Dynamite Kid in a wheel chair and that is just not for me. I have an all or nothing style, I give 100%, and hit hard and get hit hard. It takes a lot out of you. After a 3-day live event trip, I’m battered and sometimes it takes me 3 or 4 days to kick out.
