According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter TNA and Kurt Angle have agreed to a one year contract extension. According to the report Angle was currently closing in on the final year of a three year deal. The contract apparently had a mutual option for a fourth year and both parties agreed to exercise this option.
The Wrestling Observer has given conflicting reports in the past about contract lengths and renewals so this cannot be confirmed, but many other sources believe this to be the case as well.

Great to hear. I love that Kurt Angle came to TNA, and stayed, on his own. It seems both he & Christian were the only major former WWE stars to voluntarily join the company instead of joining only AFTER being fired by the WWE. Kurt lends such credit to TNA, they would be wise to keep him for as long as they can, while still giving him a schedule that won’t burn him out too quickly.

Kurt Angle is THE best performer in wrestling today. I just pray he doesn’t injure himself too bad by constantly living up to those standards.
