Reports around the internet seem to suggest that last night’s episode of iMPACT! scored a 1.00 rating. In terms of how many viewers this rating represents, the reports say that iMPACT! averaged 1.3 million viewers last night (as opposed to the 1.5 million that the show averaged last week).
We will have finalized ratings including an hourly ratings breakdown early next week, so stay tuned! In the mean time, check out the history of the Thursday Night War between TNA’s iMPACT! on Spike TV and WWE’s Superstars on WGN America!

move it an hour earlier, from 9pm to 8pm and see the ratings improve!

I gotta tell ya – I completely agree. At this point, I can’t stay up late enough to watch the three hour TNA block on Spike TV. Some of us have to get to bed so we can get up and go to work in the morning!

Plus the show would serve better as a “pre-fight” show I think. Even though they are getting reactions form the wrestlers about the previous week’s show it would help build the hype for this week’s. Who knows what new viewer channel flipping it might reel cause to stick around for iMPACT!?
Joe says
You’re right, William. Having the talent take an hour to build up what’s coming up next would be a great idea. Frankly, once iMPACT! is over (if I’m still awake), I typically just DVR ReAction because I don’t need to hear about what I just watched.
