– Former WWF Tag Team Champion Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart was arrested yesterday. He was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, one count of burglary of an occupied dwelling & one count of grand theft.
Neidhart, 58, was arrested this morning in Thonotosassa, FL after deputies were alerted to Neidhart being loud and yelling as he attempted to open a pill bottle while pumping gas. Neidhart reportedly became argumentative with authorities, leading them to pad him down. They then found 28 methodone tablets, and 95 oxycontin pills. Several pill bottles in Neidhart’s possession actually belonged to his neighbors who had recently reported them stolen.
Neidhart is currently being held without bond pending his first appearance before a judge.
