A Chaotic Theory: How I See It
By Chad
I thought I would change it up this time and just give you a few of my thoughts and opinions on some current situations and happenings in TNA. Hope you enjoy….
Over the last few weeks I have witnessed a rebirth in professional wrestling. A lot of things are changing, some for the good and some I could just live without. But good or bad, wrestling is back. A few weeks ago, TNA gave us the pleasure of seeing one of the best series of matches I have watched in a very long time. Beer Money and MCMG took their skills to the limit in a best of five match series and the final match was shown on national television at the Whole F’N Show, TNA’s “Free PPV”. I have to say I was amazed at both teams, who put on a match that should forever be remembered as one of the best. I am happy because it seems that TNA’s direction is to continue to develop wrestling storylines and not ones that resemble “Sports Entertainment”. Bravo TNA for stepping your game up once again.
What exactly is going on with the Knockout’s Division? Where is Taylor Wilde and Hamada and are they planning on defending the Knockouts Tag Team Titles, or will Hamada’s curse carry on and force her current partner out the door, which has happened to all her partners once they win those cursed belts.
I am happy to see that Angelina Love and Velvet Sky have decided to forget the past and move forward as friends, I just don’t know how I feel about Velvet’s face turn. I just don’t see her as a person who could pass for nice. And while we are on the subject of the Beautiful People and those former members, Madison Rayne, would you please just have Tara remove the helmet already, we all know it’s her. It might have been more of a surprise had Taylor Wilde not tweeted about it on her Twitter account a few weeks ago, she didn’t use the words specifically but the hints were easy to decipher.
It is starting to get really hard to follow who is the good guys and who are the bad guys on TNA iMPACT! because there are so many groups and factions, things are beginning to become really crowded and the instability still grows.
A lot of buzz around the Internet is that some fans don’t like the return of hardcore by way of ECW, oops I mean EV 2.0. From the mess of opinions that I read through, it seems the main reason is that most fans feel like ECW had their time and now its time to let it go and don’t want TNA to become a mimicked copy of a dead brand. I say, it doesn’t bother me with whatever TNA decides to do involving the House of Hardcore, just as long as they use it to push their young stars and own homegrown talent. People like Jesse Neal, Shannon Moore, AJ Styles, Beer Money, MCMG and so forth and so on. And as far as I can tell, most of those guys have been in their own bit of spotlight as of lately, all except Jesse Neal, which in my opinion, every week that he isn’t used is a week that TNA has wasted talent.
But then again those are just a few of my Chaotic Theories……
Dr. Cain, Esq says
Knockouts ‘Division?’ There are four cloned girls who wrestle every week. Please hire some new talent if you want to have a ‘Division.’ Every week its the same tired match. At least it gives me a chance to grab a beer and not miss anything. I was stoked to see the ECW dudes, but only a few of them should be making the rounds now. I am stoked to see Sabu on tv again, FBI, not so much.
