The interwebs are abuzz with thoughts that Team 3D members Brother Ray and Brother Devon might be leaving TNA Wrestling after their contracts expire this week. In fact, this was the big news item floating around wrestling websites yesterday evening.
Earlier today, though, the Pro Wrestling Torch posted the following news item: Regarding Team 3D’s status in TNA, sources in TNA tell the Torch, “3D is not done,” despite reports they could be done with TNA with their contracts coming due.
Generally, I put more faith in what the folks at the Pro Wrestling Torch say on these types of issues because they check their news with real life sources in the companies. However, I think that with this particular situation the best stance for all of the wrestling fans out there to take is to wait and see – because I’m not sure what’s going to happen with Team 3D. In my view, TNA Wrestling certainly doesn’t need them on the roster, but they also bring this weird aura of being the most highly decorated tag team in professional wrestling history with them. So I’d assume that it’s a give and take when it comes to contract negotiations.

I could be wrong but the very news outlet that is reporting that 3-D’s contracts are up is the same outlet that claimed they signed a 2 year deal around this time last year.
You’re probably right, William. The chances are that this is just another made up story – we all know how the major “sources” are out there…
